I work for a company that does a lot of books and uses anchored images. Changing pages to different margins will affect the anchored image, causing me extra time to go back and double check that all the anchored images are still as I left them. Sometimes the images get scaled down to a minuscule percentage!

Fix for this issue is now available in the latest release of InDesign 2022 - that is, InDesign 17.4 version.
Please update to this version to get the fix.

We've just released InDesign 17.2.1 version which addresses this issue.
Please update to this latest version using Creative Cloud Desktop application.
In case the fix does not work immediately for you, please try the following:
1) Quit InDesign.
2) Delete the following:
on Mac:
/Users/[yourname]/Library/Caches/Adobe InDesign
/Users/[yourname]/Library/Preferences/Adobe InDesign
on Win:
C:\Users\[yourname]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\InDesign
C:\Users\[yourname]\AppData\Local\Adobe\InDesign
Relaunch InDesign & see if it works properly now.

An error occurred while saving the comment Jeremy Bohn commentedSame here. I've seen it since I started doing books with InDesign 2020 and the problem still exists in 2022. My coworker has the same problem so that's 3 computers now. All macOS... Sierra, Catalina, Big Sur and Monterey.
Usually it's just a delay of a couple of seconds before it refreshes but often text can be "overlapped" or even entirely disappear until you refresh, such as switching to preview mode and back again.

An error occurred while saving the comment Jeremy Bohn commentedI see the same thing here too on 2 different computers. The problem was in InDesign 2020, still there in 2022.
As soon as you open more than one document in tabs, the window height changes. The second document open usually makes the window shorter. Sometimes it will make it longer than your screen. Click the Zoom button and the window snaps into the right size. But as soon as you open another document, that new tab will be either too short or too long.

Agreed. Quite annoying. The search focus does not help.
