    America is not the only country in the world but it is the only one that uses "letter" size - I don't want Letter to be my default

    same problem helvetica font is crashing in RIP. Creating outlines would solve it but the outlined text is a duplicate, the original text remains in the table. eventually changed hevetica to Arial - it is a **** work-around but to a problem that should not exist.

    This was also a problem on 2019 version where the IDD icon got replaced with the idml icon.
    Since there is no discernable improvement in v2020 I'm going back to v2019 til you sort it out.

    It may seem trifling, but I need to know what sort of file I am opening.

  11. Can we have the “save as filename” checkbox for exporting PDF back please (it was a very useful tool for about 1 year - now it’s gone)

    Hello All,

    Thank you for your patience all this while.
    This issue is now fixed in the latest update (Id 14.0.1) of InDesign CC.
    If you are unable to see the update notification yet, open the menu (three dots) from the top-right of Creative Cloud desktop application and click on ‘Check For App Updates’.

    Once the update button is shown against InDesign CC, click on the button to update your InDesign to Id 14.0.1 for the fix of the issue.
    Do let us know in the comments, if you face any problem with the new update.

    Same issue - only on one machine though - 10 seconds delay for any type to appear.
    Other machine is quick to type except first letter must be typed twice in any new text box.
    checked task monitor and the machine itself is pretty much at idle the problem is within indesign itself
    Seems font related?
    Both machines running Win 7

    Specifically: the view setting that I usually want to incorporate are:
    1) - Display the pages panel and page
    2) - View @ 150%

    These I cannot do in the create pdf dialogue... or can I?
