Adobe this is ridiculous. We spend hundreds and thousands a year on your services. This is a basic error that hasn't been fixed in at least 3-4 years. These little things should be picked up and nipped early on instead of lingering. Please fix this. It's so annoying to deal with.

The fix of the issue is now available in the latest InDesign 2022(v17.0.0.96). We recommend you upgrade to the latest version for the fix.

If you are unable to see the update, go to the Creative Cloud application and click on the context menu on the top right and click on Check for App Updates.

Sorry, but this is NOT fixed. I just updated InDesign this week, even when I press "T" to activate the text tool, the tool icon does not show it, and the text tool cursor disappears after a few seconds. The whole program is laggy with type now and is extremely frustrating. This needs your attention please. Thank you.

Hey all....it's October 2020 and this still hasn't been updated. We throw lots of money every year to have the most up-to-date version of Adobe CC, but there are so many things that have been brought up but overlooked in these programs that make our jobs significantly more difficult. Please make this update as it is very useful. Thanks!

Yes. Please please please add this feature. It seems shortsighted to only define an objects position from the left or top. Assume we're trying to create dynamic master page templates where on the footer there's an element that must stay at 0 in reference to the left margin. That is currently doable. What needs to be done is defining whether the offset is doing the math using the left side of the page or the right, so we could have an element on the footer that is on the right always stay with the right margin so when going from a letter sized page to a tabloid sized page, each element will stay with their respective margins.
