Negative values needed size and position options in Object Style
Currently, you cannot set negative values for the Size and Position Options inside of Object Styles.
This is an obvious error because sometimes, you need a class of objects to bleed. For example, I would like a ImageFullpage style that I could use to set images that bleed on all four sides.
This requires that they be positioned at -0.125 x and 0.125 y.
Also, an ImageCaption style that sets a caption on top of an image should allow me to use -y: .125. When combined with the bottom reference point and the from: "group" option (another request), it would…

window gets stuck at the bottom
I'm on the latest version of Dreamweaver v.18 on Mac Ventura 13.4.1
Everytime I zoom in the window gets stuck at the bottom and stops scrolling. I can scroll left and right but not up.. I have attached a screenrecording .. Please help1 vote -
Application Window Bug
Please fix this annoying bug, Adobe! Ever since I updated to the latest version 18.4 the application window has broken. I have uploaded a screen recording to demonstrate what is happening. I use Shift + W a LOT to view my work in presentation mode. everytime I exit this view the entire application shrinks!! And I have to keep manually resizing the application window. But it doesn't happen when I uncheck 'Application Window' from the window menu. Please fix this. I have never had this issue before.

When deleting or adding one single page in the middle of a facing page document, the images in the pages that follow will shift of misalign
INDD V.18.2.1 (it applies to V17 too)
Hi developers, this is a long-lasting problem n it really affects work flow.In a multiple facing page document, if you delete or add one single left or right hand page (in my example it's p.36), all the images in the pages that follow will shift in their positions. And if you add one page, then delete that page, the images will not go back to their original position. Allow document or spread to shuffle is checked. This is a MAJOR issue when you are working on document over 100 pages.

Duplicated page removes some character styles
Duplicating a page removed some character styles in my document. Only on half the page though.
Super weird bug, tbh.

Descendant Report
descendent over run the original person at more generations. This does not happen all the time, but occasionally. I uploaded first page and last page to illustrate. Didn't mean to load them multiple times I didn't realize I was doing it at first then I couldn't erase them. Hope this is not a dumb question sometimes I have a hard time explaining myself.

Wörterbuch InDesign Deutsch -2006 neue Rechtschreibung 18.2.1. x64
Wenn ich die Neue Deutsche Rechtschreibung ab 2006 für meine Dokumente einstelle, springt die Einstellung beim Wort selbst (rechte Maustaste) jedes mal zurück auf die alte Rechtschreibung. Egal was ich versuche - diese Einstellung wird nicht im Dokument abgespeichert.
Ist das ein Bug?

Opening documents as tabs cannot be deactivated
Always open documents as tabs even if you have not selected this in the settings under User interface -> Open documents as tabs. I need different window sizes and find tabs impractical.

liza cap pro font
For some reason, Liza Cap Pro is not loading - it is showing it is active, but not showing as a valid font. Please help.

IDML export ruins vertical Rulers on Masterpages
Bug.
Placed vertical Rulers on right handed Masterpage are jumping to the left handed Masterpage saved as idml.
Need to be fixed.

Can't get rid of grids
Cannot get rid of grids in the Japanese version of Indesign, also can't create a new document without them!

addidtionl layer(s) are invisible in embedded INDD
The objects on layers except the main layer are invisible if you place the indd document in another indd document. If you move the object to the main layer and refresh the link they are visible again. PDF export is not effected by this.

new documents open in full screen
I am using ID 18.1 on Mac OS 12.5.1. Every time I open a new InDesign document the document takes up the whole screen. I have unchecked application frame under windows menu. I have unchecked "show home screen" in preferences. It is extremely annoying to have to grab the lower right corner of the window to size it down every time I open or create a new document. Where is the setting/preference to fix this?

Navigation bug on InDesign 18
When I open a document with several pages (facing pages) and I use the option + up or down arrow shortcuts to scroll the pages, indesign skips 2 double pages instead of one. The bug is intermittent. Only on Indesign 18.0 and 18.1.

'Delete Empty Pages' in InDesign preferences does not recognize content on parent page
When 'Delete Empty Pages' in InDesign is checked within preferences (found in the 'Type' tab) it does not recognize content on a parent page. Personally, I think if there is type on a parent and it is applied to a page(s), the page(s) should not be considered empty and automatically deleted.

Margins outside page bounds
In the new New Document setup dialog it is possible to set margins larger than the page dimensions which results in Margins outside the page area. This does not happen with the legacy dialog.

Moving pages between documents buggy in indesign 18.0
When attempting to move pages from one .indd file to another, the application occasionaly tells me that the page format is different, which it isn't. What happens is the pages don't show up in the target document although being deleted from the source doc (delete pages box checked) … closing and reopening the application helps sometimes but not for good. Is there any way to resolve this issue?

Lagging and glitching mouse pointer
The problem comes when I expand or move a text box: the mouse glitches, the entire page lags and becomes half black, so I can't do anything properly.
I've just reinstalled InD and installed all the updates or drivers coming from the OS (I have a 6 month Lenovo PC with Windows 11). I'm not using InD with browsers or other programs open. Sometimes, InD seems working, but when I restart InD after turning off the PC, the lagging and glitching mouse is still here.
I have no idea of how fix this... it's exhausting because I can't paginate anything…1 vote
