We have released an update for InDesign CC2019 (v 14.0.1) which contains fixes for some key issues. If you are not already on 14.0.1 (build 209), then we recommend you to update to latest version.
If you still face this issue even after updating, please send the following information to santalwa@adobe.com :
Reproducible Steps –
• Error snapshot or video recording of the issue.
• Is the issue related to a specific document(s)/asset(s)? If yes, can you please share the document(s)/asset(s) with us? Please package the entire document(To package the document, Go to File → Package)
• Does trashing InDesign Preferences and Cache help resolve the issue? Please take a backup of the same before trashing them.Adobe InDesign team

Pagina on Master page - deleted on one page
Pagina is on Master page, and deleted on one page.
In version 12.0.0.81 the pagina that is deleted still shows.
In version 12.1.0.56 the pagina is not there.
I do not know which version the designer used when creating the document, some version of 2017.

Page icons not displayed in vertical and horizontal configuration.
There seems to be a bug with the pages palette, the icons do not display correctly in vertical and horizontal configurations with some dissapearing off the side or below.

Duplicate files opening from the Book utility
InDesign CC2025 v20.5 / Mac Sequoia 15.6
Opened all the documents from the Book utility then using the Book utility to navigate between them. Unlike previous versions, the CC2025 version is opening duplicates of the document instead of navigating to the one that is already open.
I checked the same file in the older version of InDesign, CC2024. It worked correctly.

Alternate Layouts lost, names missing and out of order
I've had a reoccuring issue of InDesign documents with multiple alternate layouts 'losing' their layout names and placements.
I've attached a screenshot of what my alternate layouts should look like, and then again what they now look like.
InDesign no longer sees it as an alternate layout.This seems to happen some time after working in a file, or re-opening a file.
No updates have been made to InDesign between closing and re-opening these files.I'm on MacOS Sequoia 15.6

We use a template for our papers with layout/margins & columns are changing
We set up our pages then drag the parent page onto the actual page. The parent pages are all 3 or 4 columns. When the parent page is on the actual page, checking Layout/Margins & Columns, now has 5 columns instead of its 3 or 4.
InDesign 2025, 20.5.0.48. Intel iMac 2019. Sequoia 15.5.
I can replicate this on my Mac Studio M2, InDesign 2025, 20.5.0.48. Sequoia 15.5

Ci sono una serie di bug irrisolti da tempo:
Cambio di formato.
Se si scrive del testo in un nuovo documento in automatico scrive con colore registro e non solo nero
Indesign è lento a selezionare le finestre di testo o immagini utilizzando un mac di ultimissima generazione con 16 gb di ram
Si blocca diverse volte in fase di impostazione nuovo documento

page layout panel not scolling
Pages Panel does not scroll to all pages in document, whether in horizontal or layout view. If panel is enlarged and the pages all fit, you can see them. If you shrink the pages to a smaller size (from jumbo to extra large) and they fit in the view panel, you can see them. But if it is a large document (more than 25 or so pages) you cannot scroll far enough to view pages past about 25 in extra large view.
Fully updated version InDesign 20.3.1. on Mac.

Facing-page layouts always have one un-editable page
If you set up facing master pages with a text frame on each, you can only set the text frame as "primary" on one of the pages. That means every other page you create from the master will be un-editable. This defeats much of the purpose of a master page, and provides no benefit.
The only semi-workaround is to connect the two frames, but this is not always acceptable. Sometimes it is necessary to keep the stories separate.

Adding pages before 1st page move placed images
Versions 20.1 and 20.2 if you try to insert pages before 1st page, it moves already placed images to another page.

"send form" doesn't work
I made an interactive form with several "necessary" fields and a "send form" button. When I tried to "send" the form without filling in the necessary fields, acrobat reminds me that not all required fields are filled in. Positive, that's how it should work. BUT- when all fields are filled in and one tries the "send form" button, nothing happens. File is not send...... Please advise, because the "necessary fields / required information" is not asked after if the file can't be send by this button....

Mauvais format de page
Quand le format de page sera respecté ?
Lorsque tu crées une page, le format n'est pas respecté.
Par exemple :
Si je créée une page au format 480 x 60 (par exemple…c'est la même chose avec un autre format), Indesign affiche une page au format A4.

Unable to select multiple objects when hidden spreads are in document
InDesign version: 20.1
There seems to be a bug that occurs when there are hidden spreads in the document, where you cannot click and drag to select items on a visible spread. Also when you copy content from one spread to another it doesn't transfer to the current selected page. See below for my experience:
Steps to reproduce issue (part 1):
1. create a document with multiple pages (e.g., 26 pages).
2. Hide some spreads throughout document. (e.g., page 1, page 5, pages 20-23, etc).
3. Attempt to select multiple objects by clicking and dragging.Expected result: objects selected!

Elements disappear when two different templates are opposite each other on a double page (indesign 2024 - 19.5.1)
When you apply two different templates on a double page, some elements of the template disappear. This bug is not systematic, but has come back regularly for years.
This happens when a parent template and a child template are on a facing page (see screenshot).Lorsqu'on applique deux gabarits différents sur une double page certains éléments du gabarit disparaissent. Ce bug n'est pas systématique, mais revient régulièrement depuis des années.
