inserting page
I'm working on a document which is around 100 pages. so far i was able to insert pages or a spread to the document without any issue but since yesterday, if i'm tryint to insert a page, its getting inserted not in the line of the spread but away from it.
I'm not sure if the problem is understandable, so i am attaching a few screenshots.
Asked around to a few colleagues, but no one has faced such issue before.1 vote -
Page numbering logic
I don't get why the logic of page numbering is that complicaded in InDesign.
imagen you would like to show the number of the current and the previous page on the same page.
You can not simply put those varibles form Markers, saying Current Page Number an Next Page Number on the same page. – That would give you twice the Current Page Number.
Current Solution: You have to write them into two conected Text fields, which are supposed to be ob bouth pages, that you want to put a number on.here my idea:

None Master issue
I don't understand how the None Master works. If I create a document with no margin and no columns, then go to the A Master and add margin and columns, sometimes the None Master will delete the margins and columns, and sometimes it seems to adopt the margins and columns from the A Master.
I would recommend that the None Master ALWAYS delete all the columns and margins so it's a blank page. Or at least consistently return to the columns and margins of the A Master, but blank would be better.

15.0.2 Margins & Columns Issue on Body Page 1 (Windows only)
Version: 15.0.2
Steps to reproduce the issues:
I was teaching 3 students on 15.0.2 (all on Windows) how to create a new document. We set up a 12-page file and specified 3 columns and changed the top margin in the New Document dialog box. With the preview checkbox on, body page 1 did not reflect the changes. We could see the bleed and slug lines appearing when defined. We could also see the A in the corner of the the body page 1 icon in the Pages panel, indicating that A-Master was assigned.Expected result

Need Permissioning for File Access and Edit for In Design File. WE should be allowed to set up security to prevent unauthorized access to
We should be able to create optional security in terms of file opening, file edit and file save/print fo all In Design Files. Permissions should be able to be modified from remote location, if for example a former employee with previous permissions copies file and takes proprietary template. This should be for desk top and remote server accessed files. Especially Server hosted files. I cannot believe this is not possible. Similar to PDF Files which are password protected. In Design files should have same security feature set as PDFs. This is critical and urgent.

Undo on Master Reverts Design
When changing master pages, I accidentally deleted a text box. I selected Edit, Undo, and the entire document reverted back to when I first opened it. Please fix!!

Indesign creates blank pages
While I type, in some pages, Indesign moves the text to next page, and creates a blank page. With each letter I type the texts keeps moving on from page to page. I live this in several documents with different layouts.
The version I'm using is 15.0.1, win 10 x64

"Option - Click' to resize page
Version 15.0.1 Indesign 2020
When resizing the page, the 'shortcut' of 'Option - Click' to resize the page is now not working. It now just springs back to the size it was.

Can not open new document or a new file I'm working on.
It happens once in a while. It has no connection to corrupted files.
The Indesign is open, but the document it self doesn't show! Also if I ask to open a new document.
Tried Relaunching, Tried Updating to Version.
It all seems to work as a VOODOO ... Very annoying!

text variable "Year>Modification Date" prematurely outputting "2020" (in 2019)
I just updated to InDesign 2020 on 12-27-2019 and today (12-30-19) was updating some ID documents that have a text variable in the master pages (defined as Year > Modification Date), which suddenly (a few days premature!) is now showing up as 2020, even though we're still in 2019! I thought that changing it to Year > Output Date (which changes the field to show the correct 2019) was a temporary solution, but then my new PDFs output with the date field changed to 2020! InDesign Documentation
I found out through Adobe support that page transitions in an interactive PDF created using InDesign only work in full screen mode. If this is true, your documentation should state this.
I also found out that the SWF function has been removed for InDesign 2020. Please update your documentation to let users know that this is no longer available in 2020, but is still available in 2019.

não consigo inserir número de paginas como caracter especial. Faço o procedimento correto mas no final ele não insere o caracter.

InDesign 15.0.1 create new guides stops working and all guides disappear
Mac 10.13.6, InDesign 15.0.1. Repeatable bug. Not related to having any browsers open.
Create new document, can drag guides to page and see them OK. Paste elements on to page, still OK to create guides Adjust margins and columns, still OK.
THEN, adjust Document Setup (for me, adding bleed) and all guides disappear. You can drag a guide from rulers and it looks like it is there, but when you click elsewhere on the screen then that guide disappears.

Ceñir texto
Hola,
al actualizar documentos anteriores a la versión 15.01 de InDesign las imagenes con ceñir texto el sangrado es incorrecto, provocando cambios en la maquetación.
Si ese mismo documento se abre en la versión 14.03 la función de ceñir texto funciona correctamente.

Buggy open a file, save as doesn't work, ID 2020, Mac OS 10.15.1 (19B88)
First open file always says the file is being used by other, although is not.
Save as doesn't work, says corrupt file. Occurs only on Mac, no problems with office PC:s. Working on a local server.1 vote -
2020 Pages Window Broken
Ever since updating to Indesign 2020 the pages window just doesn't work. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling a number of times but no matter what I do it just shows it as completely blank. This makes it extremely difficult to access anything, let alone my master pages.
