'Justify All Lines' Not Working Properly
The 'Justify All Lines' paragraph option does not work properly when applied to objects within a text frame. The attached example image should help to explain.

Problem with variable fonts letter tracking
Adobe Indesign 15.1.2
There is a problem with letter tracking in variable fonts (please see attached photo)
I've tried two licensed variable fonts and it occurs with all of them
(Myriad Variable & 29lt Bukra Variavle)
I've not changed the default values for letter kerning nor tracking.Expected results: I expect the text to have the correct letter tracking
Actual results: bad letter tracking (please see attached photo)

White boxes appear above and under the text boxes. How do get rid of them?
I have placed a word-document into InDesign. It worked fine, except that above and under the textboxes there now is white boxes that makes the page numbers not show, even when exported. How do I get rid of them?

indesign CC 2020 15.1.1 not recognizing font
document will work fine, then randomly a window will pop up saying that it is missing a font that I have been working with. Restarting Indesign usually works for a brief amount of time

Right-to-left
Text setting RTL text in Adlam is completely usable in ID 2020 and ID 2020 ME. It used to mostly serviceable in prior editions. Postional forms are incorrect with the initial forms becoming medial and final forms becoming initial. In addition, the cursor is always on the wrong side of the letter making marks failing to attach correctly. Finally, text cannot be selected at all.

Please help
Half way through spell checking a document, InDesign has just stopped recognising plurals and suggesting spelling the word with a gap and then the 's'
I'm up to date with InDesign and have been using it for over 15 years and never seen this

InDesign highlighted text sometimes has blanks in attribute sizes, & increase/decrease doesn't respond to blanks.
After we highlight text, InDesign many times shows blanks in some of the attribute sizes. Sometimes with highlighted text all the sizes do show, but often with highlighted text the sizes are blank for some of the attributes we want to adjust. I can't figure out how to avoid this. Many, many times, highlighted text shows blanks. It's a regular occurrence. Further, with the blanks, the increase/decrease tabs (the small up/down arrows) don't work. This causes a big waste of time, repeatedly, as we highlight text. So we have to un-highlight the text. Look back at the attribute size, remember…

Tab Palette
The magnet in the Tab Palette goes to the beginning of the text field. When the text field is too large, it should be able to go to the beginning of the selected text when the text field does not fit on the screen.

Kerning (spacing) issue with small caps active
There's an annoying issue with kerning (or in general with characters spacing) on characters without small caps when small caps is active on preceding characters.
This appens randomly on a full text document but seems always with text imported from Word.
The strange thing is that if I deactivate small caps from only a white space before the badly spaced text, the problem disappear. Likewise if I deactivate small caps from preceding word but keep it in the white space before the badly spaced text, the problem disappear again. I have found countless workarounds for scripts that support formulas in InDesign, but how is this not a native tool?

Latest Indesign update changes text flow.
InDesign 15.1.1.1 introduces a new error. Text flow in a long document with justified text changes. I am using Mac Mojave 10.14.6. When I reinstalled 15.1 this problem went away.

spell checking for hyphenated expressions
Spell checking has changed with the most recent release, and expressions which were previously acceptable (and which the Oxford Dictionary of Amercican English thought were correct are now being rejected. For instance: crash-landed.
The same problem appears with French text, and there the problem is more difficult, as French has lots and lots of hyphenated expressions. "bric-à-brac" is one I've come across already. Le Petit Robert thinks this is correct, and all previous versions of InDesign did too. Please fix. :)

Cross reference anchors are not sorted alphabetically
When adding a cross reference into the text pointing to a certain text anchor, the list of anchors is not sorted alphabetically. The anchors starting with accented letters are wrongly placed at the end of the list. The alphabet order should respect the language setting of UI.

Impossible to modify the text
When reopening an iD file, it is impossible to select and modify the text inside the text boxes.
