In world-ready paragraph mode, the width of inline graphics is not respected. the text is out over top of the graphic. This is with the Khmer language. Indesign version 16.1

Changing language setting of paragraph text causes turnovers to change
Indesign Version 16.1 Windows 10 Home 64-bit
Given some random body text, the default language setting was English: USA, if I want to change this to any other language like English: UK (for spell checking reasons) it causes the turnovers of certain paragraphs to change.
Different fonts do the same thing, I primarily tested on a non-type 1 version of Melior and Helvetica but also tried some Adobe Fonts. However, different language settings cause different bits of text to change their turnover, ergo English: USA has different turnovers to English: USA Legal.

can't type in text box
I create a text box, but when I type in it, no text appears. My keyboard works, and the rest of InDesign's functions work. And I'm updated to the most recent version of INDD--v16.1.

there is a problem about exporting arabic text. it seems normal in text edit but in ms word it seems mistaken. is it about word or indd?when copying arabic text to ms word the same issue goes on

Placing MS Word documents
Hi,
I am designing a Journal in InDesign with over 50 articles. All the articles are done with MS Word with footnotes etc. After placing about 45 articles I found that in some placed articles the fonts have changed in certain pragraphs. Since I noticed this at the tail end, I did some experiments and placed the next article with the option "Redefine InDesign style" selected and the exact fonts were placed. But to my surprise there are 90 errors in the already placed 45 articles.

Arabic diacritic positions corrupted when inserting footnote reference or Index page reference
Indesign version: Last versions and older versions
Steps to reproduce: Add footnote reference or Index page reference, some words in the same line will have dots and diacritics positioned wrongly.
Expected result: Text should be the same before and after Reference insertions.
Actual result: Diacritics and dots of some words in the same line gets repositioned wrongly.1 vote -
US English dictionary no longer picking up UK English words as misspellings
I'm running 16.1. My colleagues are running 16. In neither version does the US English dictionary mark 'maneouvre', 'modelling', 'utilise' and 'organise' as misspellings even though they most certainly are.

adobe fonts not syncing properly with typekit
Having issue with fonts syncing with cloud version of fonts. I’ve downloaded the Oswald font but only 2 fonts show up as cloud version and the other version all show up as TrueType fonts and I don’t even have the font installed?

For several months now, when I place a .docx document in inDesign, it can happen that a character is misinterpreted by inDesign.
It's as if it's invisible for the layout, but it actually cuts the word in half for spelling correction, for example.
When I copy it to search for it with inDesign with or without GREP, it does paste something (a lowercase L or an uppercase i preceded by a ^ in normal or ~ in GREP) but it doesn't find it.

Adobe Fonts: Licensed with Creative Cloud but marked as "not allowed, protected" in Preflight, InDesign
Please help me: I'm using two fonts for a book soon to be published. I have activated the fonts in Creative Cloud. I work in InDesign. Now a Preflight check tells me that my fonts are "Not Allowed: Protected" (that's the only way to translate that message from Swedish). How do I solve this??? (The fonts I'm using are Minion Pro and Myriad Pro). I thought my InDesign recognised licenses from Creative Cloud. Have I misunderstood this completely? Desperate, please give me clue.. Text frame indented
When I move a text frame to the top left corner of a page, the first line of the text is automatically indented. How can I solve this problem? Thanks

Cannot use bold version of Adobe Caslon Pro in version 16.0.1
In the 2021 version of InDesign, the bold version of Adobe Caslon Pro does not work. It leaves a blank space, and if you click on the opentype box, it says "opentype properties are not applicable." The font itself is not the problem...I cannot reinstall the fonts because creative cloud tells me they are already there. Caslon and all its versions are also correctly installed in my windows fonts folder. I also cannot export to a PDF when I have the bold version of Caslon on a page. I CAN see, print, and use the bold font in older versions…

text frame anchored causes ID to hang
I have a text frame (with text wrap, and also an inline image) anchored to a line of text in the main story.
When I adjust this frame while it is still anchored, it causes ID 16.0.1 to hang. This is the same behaviour as in versions before. No crash report because of ID 'just hanging'. The fix is force quitting.
macOS 11.0.1. This was also happening with earlier versions of macOS.
The remedy is: 'Free' anchored object, make adjustments, and re-anchore the frame.Added info:

Ongoing Overset Text Error
No matter where I paste the over-set text in whatever sized text box, that text box will then carry the exact same over-set text error. I click once to paste the text on a page so that it will automatically adjust for space, but still it carries over the same error.

So what about the rest of us who have older Macs and CAN'T update?
I'm having terrible problems with my latest and only possible update to InDesign v.15.1.2. You can't move the text but only the text box! Are you kidding?

The index does not sort alphabetically
