Danish translation in 'EPUB Export Options' is wrong
In the EPUB Export Options window - Metadata - two fields are translated into Danish. But this is not done correctly.
Re: field 3 "Created by" and 7 "Rights".This Text: > should be translated into this
Oprettet af: > Forfatter: Højre: > Copyright:
(because 'Forfatter' means 'Author' and this metadata information is requied in EPUBs.. and 'Højre' means the opposite of left ... so this is NOT the case here ;)

CMYK images displaying like RGB (despite CMYK display settings) when using GPU
When using GPU - does not display images in CMYK, but always only in RGB (even if you select transparent filling space CMYK)
It only works when switching to CPU usage
It's a bit anoying. Working with CPU is much slower, especially with big CMYK pictures....

Line not staying put
Hi all,
I updated InDesign this morning to the latest version. However, I can't get lines to stay put. I click on the line tool, drag the cursor across to where I want it. Then click on the selection tool and click somewhere else in the document and the line disappears. I can't get the line to stay in the document not can I add a second line - any ideas on what the issue is?

Random pdfs displaying weird text placement
Since Adobe updated my InDesign to 2021, I have been having issues with fonts showing correctly in placed pdfs. Sometimes text will be completely removed. Other times text is displayed enlarged, upside down and reversed. It is not all pdfs. Sometimes it is just one page in a pdf that displays badly. Please fix this bug. It is very annoying when I'm trying to paginate and print files for clients.

Visibility of levels of embedded AI files are not kept
When I use an AI file with multiple layers, InDesign 2020 (v. 15.1.3) doesn't keep the right visibility of layers when I update the AI file. The same is true when I re-open the InDesign file.
Same for InDesign 2021 (v. 16.0)
Not sure if this also happens with multilayered PSD files, I didn't checked yet.
Tried to recreate the file from scratch, no way to solve the issue. The problem never occurred in previous version of InDesign.

In photoshop when I click on an asset in cc libraries to edit that was created in INDESIGN - Indesign does not open to allow me to edit that asset. INDESIGN previous version would launch automatically when an asset was clicked to edit!

type in circle
Hi, did the feature to put text in a shape in InDesign 2020 go away or is this a bug? I used to be able to draw a circle, select the type tool and click on the circle and add type to the shape. This method doesn't work in either the 2020 or 2019 versions of ID, but it does work as usual in Illustrator 2020. Thanks so much for your help.

'Reveal in CC Libraries' Doesn't Work
Selecting a link and clicking 'Reveal in CC Libraries' opens the Libraries panel but doesn't actually find or reveal the asset, which is the functionality I would expect from such a button.

Unable to drag & drop images within text frame through custom plugin on Indesign CC2020
We have a custom plugin, we are using this plugin since Indesign CS4. We have an option to drag & drop images from this plugin pallet into Indesign Layout. With the latest CC2020 SDK, we have upgraded our plugin from CC18 to CC2020 & it works fine on all other functionality except "Drag & drop" within text frame.
We didn't made any update to the code, the same option works fine till CC2019. Is there any known issue with CC2020 sdk for drag & drop?
Note: Drag & drop allows us to place the image at left top corner of…

Indesign to Illustrator die line wrong dimensions
Indesign 15.1.2
At times, when exporting cut paths via PDF from Indesign to Illustrator, the cut paths will come in smaller than they should be. See attached screenshot. Both the red trapezoid and black rectangle say they are 36" x 24" in Indesign. When exported via PDF to Illustrator, the trapezoid is 35.875" x 24" but the rectangle stays true to 36 x 24.
I can see why this is, Indesign isn't reading the true dimensions of the rounded corner object. It's reading them as if it still has "none" applied to the corners. This could cause issues with fit…1 vote -
PDF with Identity-H encoded fonts not rendering in 2020
PDFs with certain Identity-H encoded fonts do not display in InDesign 2020 (Windows, v 15.1.2), but work fine in InDesign 2019.
The issue seems to be font encoding related – InDesign 2020 doesn’t like the Museo Sans 500 (and some other OpenType) fonts being embedded into the PDF using the Identity-H encoding. If the encoding is changed to ANSI encoding, then the PDFs render fine.
Preflighting the PDF shows the problem fonts as Type 0.
Conversion of the PDF using Acrobat to PDF/X appears to rebuild the PDF in such a way as InDesign is able to render it (although…

PSD reset to default look after updating layers into
In inDesign (any version) :
1- Import a PSD file with at least 3 layers and duplicate it,
2- via the menu, for each duplicated image, hide and show different layers to make different visual / images with the same PSD file,
3- via the menu in inDesign, modify 1 image to open it into Photoshop , then add 1 new layer into the PSD and hide it, then saveBack in inDesign, every image will reset to the default look of the PSD.
Why don't you warn with a message in this kind of cases, but keeping names of…
