InDesign does not remember window size and position
When opening a document, InDesign should remember the window size and position when it was closed. Illustrator does this, Photoshop does, this BUT NOT INDESIGN!! Why? Please fix it.

It's 2024 and this is still a problem. Even the most basic, kindergarten software can handle this utterly simple task. Upon resizing the window just write somewhere in an xml or json...
Currently indesign always starts slightly downsized, leaving a space of around 15 pixels from the desktop edge. Somebody clearly has worked to produce this behavior, but it's beyond understanding, why would anybody find this good or useful... -

The main window is always starting in a "restored" state. Despite I just open indesign, maximize and the close, upon the next start it is opening in a randomly smaller window size.
The most simple programs have solved this issue, it is beyond understanding, why Adobe software engineers can't solve such a simple issue? -

This is the bug that does not go away. When it's "fixed", the fix lasts one or two ID updates then it's back again. It can also go away when any one of the other Adobe apps are updated. A very annoying waste of time. AC, Jan 11, 2022

It was never solved in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and today....
I make a .bat file with the following:
start /max "" "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe InDesign 2021\InDesign.exe" start
It won't solve the problem if you launch InDesign by double clicking a file, but if you put the .bat file in your start menu and give it an icon it'll open as full screen.
Pretty ****** workaround but it works.

Hello. This is an issue that Adobe claims was "solved" –see:
