Creating New Hyperlink - doesn’t copy the full selected URL
InDesign CC 13.1
Mac OS El Capitan 10.11.6
I discovered this lately due to client complaining about URLs not working after export to PDF.
As per my video, I select the full URL in the text box, select New Hyperlink, and the field doesn’t populate with full URL.
After some testing, the cut off point seems to be random and don’t happen specifically at hyphens or periods.
Whether the URL flows to multiple lines or is on the same line, I get the same result.
What is causing this? This is a big issue since I work on documents that have many hyperlinks that have to be generated. Thanks.
There is a max limit of 100 characters in the URL field of the Hyperlink dialog.
Workaround: User can copy the URL to the Clipboard and paste it into the URL field when creating a Hyperlink.

I guess it's good that Adobe knows about this limitation, but why does this limitation exist at all? About half the hyperlinks in the document I'm working on go over 100 characters. Who decided hyperlinks have to be under 100 characters? If this is intended behavior, then it's not a bug. But it's still annoyingly stupid.

Adobe sharing hyper link still cuts off when emailed and does not have 100 characters in the link. What is the issue in the program? Have been working on this for days with over 300 hyper links.
