InDesign 14.0.1 is crashing hourly
For three days my InDesign 14.0.1 has been crashing almost exactly hourly. It just freezes and I get the spinning beachball. Only recourse is to re-start my Mac. I've uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times. Prior to this, I had downloaded Lightroom... I thought this might have been the initial cause. I uninstalled Lightroom and all my Adobe products. Any ideas?

I had to go back to an older version. It was crashing as soon as I opened it.

Since updating to Version 14.0.1 InDesign over a week ago it hasn't worked. When I work in a document every other action such as resizing a box, moving text boxes, typing, changes font etc. (all basic stuff) causes InDesign to freeze. It's as though I'm working in a large file size document, but they're under 2mb. It's happening so frequently that it's making it impossible to work in. The application stops responding after a few minutes and I have to force quit. I've tried reinstalling, deleting InDesign preferences and cached but nothing's worked. I think we all really need a solution to this issue.

InDesign has been freezing up for quite a while now - any older file is doomed (not real old either, like a month before updating ID). Sometimes I can save as an IDML - then re-open and re-save... but it isn't working today.
This is a very serious issue as it make working with InDesign more trouble than it's worth. This has to get fixed or I'll need to find another solution... my Quark is working fine although I've kind of forgotten all the key commands as I seldom use it other than to open files from almost a decade ago.
I've been reading posts for weeks now about the freezing issue... has to get fixed soon.

14.0.1 is crashing on me too very often. Crashes a few times a day. And even more beachballs, once every 5 min's or so, with all kinds of activities.

Deleting the InDesign Preferences and Cache did not resolve the issue. Not sure it's an InDesign problem... it's probably a system problem of some kind. But I usually am working in InDesign when it occurs, but not always. It happens one hour after each re-start. Doesn't crash, it hangs with the spinning wheel until it forces me to re-start. It's not related to a specific document/asset.
