No Panels at Start
Many times CC apps start with no panels at all or panels which won't expand when clicked.
Also happens in Photoshop, Illustrator in my experience and on different machines (Mac Pro at home, different iMacs at the office).
Has been going on for many iterations of CC apps.

I still have the same problem in the current versions of Photoshop CC and Illustrator CC.

Issue does no longer occur for me with the latest version of InDesign on macOs. Thanks a lot! :)

Same issue. It's always the first time I open InDesign after boot.
Restart of the application fixes it, still annoying. -

Same issue. I find quitting and restarting InDesign is never enough to bring them back/make them expand, always end up completely restarting my computer.

Same issue for me.
When I quit and restart InDesign multiple times it occasionally starts with the panels visible but then the master pages and document pages are hidden under the frame and are not accessible. VERY frustrating.

1. Adobe InDesign 13.0/ macOS Sierra 10.12.6 (16G29)
2. No Application Frame, No Application Bar. Expanded Panels (above): Layers, Panels, CC Libraries. Expanded Panels (bellow): Align. Quit InDesign with the panels setup like the picture (or above) and restart InDesign.
3. Have the Layers + Pages + CC Libraries Panel expanded above Align.
4. Layers + Pages + CC Librares Panels hidden.
5. Attached a video and screenshots.
I believe InDesign closes the panel when updating the CC Libraries. I was able to reproduce it in a completely different machine, the common denominators are not having the application frame and have the CC Libraries Panel expanded. Hitting F7 to call the Layers Panel brings back the group of the three panels back.
The only plugin I have for InDesign is FontExplorer X Pro, and it's updated to the latest version. Also, tried it with and without the plugins. The result is the same.
