The issue is due to the Kerning being set as None, if one sets it as Optical or Metrics, it solves the issue. The issue is currently under review.

Sorry, still trying to figure how sharing works, that link doesn't work anymore. Try this: https://adobe.ly/2z8KAnI

    Hi Anasuiya,

Apologies for the late reply. I didn't get a notification in my email of your reply and only now I got around checking back directly in here. I have just shared a test file with the old styles loaded in: https://adobe.ly/2hFlR2Q Hopefully you'll figure out what's going on.

    Cheers

    Hi, thanks for the response.

    1. InDesign 13.0 (CC2018) on Windows 10
    2. Since the update to CC2018 from 2017, when it first rolled out.
    3. I see the checkbox but nothing happens after I click ok. It doesn't get added to the Library. However, I discovered that any method will work in a brand new document or documents that were created shortly ago. The problem seems to appear on older files so I'm guessing it's a compatibility issue?

I have tried creating a new file and loading the styles from an old file. Not only I cannot add those styles to the library, now the document is unable to add new styles by any method, including the flyout menu. Undoing the loading of styles restores that functionality to the document.
