Distorted Text and Graphics in high sierra

When opening a previously created file, I noticed small visual artifacts in the rendering of vector graphics in the file. As I zoomed in to inspect it, the artifacts began jumping all over the place, and as I zoomed in further, text on the page began presenting the same behavior.

Using InDesign 2017.1, Build 12.1.0.56 on a 2016 Macbook Pro (2.9 GHz Intel Core i5, 16 GB RAM), running macOS High Sierra 10.13.

This is a macOS10.13 issue, specific for some Intel GPU cards. Apple has fixed(partially) this issue inside macOS10.13.4 released build.

Following are the workaround for resolving this issue.
1) Update your mac machine to latest macOS10.13.4. Here, Apple has fixed this issue to some extent. You will face very less number of rendering issues.
2) Disable GPU preview and set display performance as typical.

Once you have updated to macOS10.13.4 .You might still face some rendering issues. Since, Apple has not fixed this issue completely.
Please switch off GPU rendering for these cases and report a separate post for tracking.

    mouse sometimes turns into a coloured square and everything flickers when roaming around or when zooming

    Also bugged in printing: when you generate final PDF, some final pages... vanished.
    My Publisher was SOOOO happy to lose some pages of his book!
    The result: one editor fired, 1500 copies of a book faulted and the need of reprint all copies.

    FIX IT!

    I just updated my OS to High Sierra and also now have this issue... Wished I hadn't now.... Please adobe, get this fixed!!!

    Can't believe I still have to pay for this! Both illustrator and indesign, not showing graphics properly FOR MONTHS! And no e-mails, customer support -nothing!! Outrageous!!!! I can't do my job!

    This is crazy - InDesign is so slow performing even the little tasks - loosing £££ on a daily basis now. Hurry up and get this fixed.

    Very same issues here, and with Illustrator vectors. Please get it fixed! macOS 10.13.3 High Sierra, 2 GHz Intel Core i5, Intel Iris Graphics 540 1536 MB graphics card.

    The same is happening to me, when zooming in and out it changes. It has also been happening to my Illustrator both in CC 2018

    I know when I'm designing something, I just love it when someone tells me to hurry up. It just makes me get it done so much quicker.

    I have replicated this in multiple version of InDesign. Currently using 13.0.1. Text boxes, frames, etc all render these odd diagonal lines that make usability maddening. See attachment.
