Errors when using the Share for Review feature with highlight, strike-through and replace text.
I have the InDesign v. 18.0
Everytime I use the Share for Review feature, no matter where I highlight, strike-through or replace the text, the place where I want to make the suggestion is never accurate. If I try to highlight a text, when I see it the InDesign program and click the review in the Review window, it just brings me to a different page. The highlighted text isn't even highlighted at all. Same with strike-through and replace text. Of course, I can see the comment within the Review window, but when I click it, it usually brings up…1 vote -
Share for Review - Interactive PDF 'Jump to Page' feature not working
Hey,
I have a contents page in my Interactive PDF, that when you click an item on it, it jumps to the corresponding page in the PDF. However, on the Share to Review site, it jumps to the wrong page - always to the page after the one that it should jump to. When I export the PDF normally, it functions as expected, it is only on the Share to Review site that it doesn't work.
Was wondering if a fix could be found for this, as we are having to explain this to clients every time we send a…

share for review comments are unmapped
my editors are able to add comments to a share for review pdf in a browser without choosing a tool. they highlight text and add a comment, click submit, and the comments come up as unmapped. i'm on InDesign 17.4.
i was able to replicate this problem myself by opening the share for review pdf in my browser (both chrome and safari) and adding comments without selecting a tool. there should be a bubble tool or something for general comments. as is, users believe they are leaving comments on specific words.
expected: users should not be able to highlight text…

Share for Review: 404 Error, I'm the owner but receive no access
I have hundreds of share for review links that all don't work anymore, neither for me nor externals. They all end up at 404. When I open the indd, I get the message that I'm not permitted to create or update a review link because I'm not the owner — I am. I've tried logging out and back in but that didn't help. My indesign is fully up to date at version 17.3.

InDesign Share for Review @mentions are not sending emails to the contributors
People are leaving comments with the @mention option but the @person is not receiving those comments in email so they don't know that the comment was made.
I'm using Version 17.3

Hyperlinks In Document Not Linking Out
I am working in InDesign 17.3.
I can create and update the Share for Review link itself but all hyperlinks within the document won't work. The hyperlinks show up as links in the document and online (blue, underline) but when you click on them they don't do anything. You can't right click to get options to open in a new tab or copy the link.
The links work when you export as a PDF or publish online but not when you do Share for Review.

All resolved comments disappeared
Overnight all resolved comments and their respective users disappeared from the Review panel. When switching the filter no comments are shown anymore and i can't get them back in neither scenario (logging in the CC online and looking in the review link, looking in InDesign itself and so on). Is there any chance to get those resolved comments back? They haven't been deleted neither, either the client or I resolved those through both ways and the day before everything was there and viewable with the respective filter. Without them it's nearly impossible to keep a backlog of all the changes.

Shared a document for review on the latest (17.2.1) version of InDesign and when coworkers tried to access it, it just spun and never loaded.

Share for Review / Hyperlinks not working
Hyperlinks are not working on Share for review, using image, text or even buttons. They work fine if you export the document as Interactive PDF. Already tried to delete the review and upload a new version, but nothing seems to work.
Does anyone else have this issue?

Review: Previous feedback is no longer displayed in previous file version
Previous feedback is no longer displayed in previous file version! This is extremely tedious when checking the files, because even if you make a copy of the file and assign a new review link to it, your colleagues cannot compare the corrections with their comments. Likewise, I cannot check whether I have received the feedback with the subsequently marked errors and thus adopted them.

Duplicating Document within Finder Causes Both to be linked to the same Review "Share For Review"
I just encountered a very annoying bug. It seems that if you duplicate a file in the finder (Mac OS) with a document that already has a review, the copy seems to keep the link to the Shared for Review review. Also the original maintains the link. Even if you try creating a new review it seems both files are connected. The way to avoid it is to do a Save Copy from with InDesign. So I guess within the InDesign document when you just duplicate in the finder there is some information that somehow keeps it lined to the…

Share for Review - Public Recipients Still Can't Access Without Adobe Account
I'm using InDesign version 17.0.1. Using Share for Review, I was able to chose Public and send invitations. The recipients received the e-mail from Adobe, but if the recipient is on a computer without an Adobe account, when they click the button to access the file, it doesn't open - it will just spin for several minutes then display a File Preview Error . The instructions I have for Share for Review said that choosing Public would allow users without an Adobe account to access the file, but this does not seem to be the case. I first tested this…

Share for review won't update link with Indesign version 17.0.1
I've tried quitting, signing out of Adobe, restarting my computer, exporting PDFs and more and nothing seems to solve this issue. I only have been experiencing this consistently with the latest version. I'm on a Mac with Big Sur version 11.5.2 as well and it's not limited to one document, it happens for the majority of my documents.

The new version of INDesign just doesn't work.
Installed.
Now uninstalling.
It continually keeps being unresponsive.
Another error now on Cloud, suggesting relancing it as it's taking .longer than normal.Poor from Adobe to launch yet another bug fix that's even more buggy

Share for Review
I'm now using InDesign 2022. I open an old document and save with a new name as I have done for years. However, now when I go and create a Share for review, the old file name still appears in the Share for Review tab as the Title. Even when I've changed the title in that tab, it seems to revert back to the old title of the original file I based my new file on. This title is what appears on the pdf that is sent to the reviewers. So this can be very confusing and a HUGE problem.…

"Share for review" somehow linked to old file
Had an older file that was Shared for Review and used it as a template. Saved the file under a different name, another user made some changes to the file, and this other user then Shared for Review. But the Share for Review under the new file says "You cannot access comments because another user has an active review for this document". But if i open the review under the newer file it takes me to the old file. Neither of us can see the comments under REVIEW in InDesign. We can see the comments if we go to the…

Broken layout in review panel
Using InDesign 16.4 - Windows 10 21H1 19043.1237
The layout of the review panel is broken, apparently since the 16.4 update.
Clicking on a note sends all the content on the edge of the panel, hiding most of it (as shown on the attached image).
Changing the size of the panel (even slightly) puts everything back in place, but clicking again on a note breaks everything again. And so on.

Share for Review Bugs
We recently piloted using the "Share for Review" feature and have encountered a number of issues. Any help to solve these issues would all me to use this feature.
-Login - a number of our pilot users had to log in twice in order to open the link (organizational accounts - one on firefox, one on chrome). Does anyone else see this issue? Are there any solutions?
-Comments seem to be organized by page by time comment was posted. This not like Adobe Acrobat which organizes comments by page by location on page the edit/comment exists (I believe it is…1 vote
