Document grid hiding guides
When unchecking "Grids in back" in preferences>grids, the document grid hides all guides that are places on it.
That is, if for instance I place a ruler guide at the 2mm mark, and it happens to fall on the document grid (or its subdivisions), it will not show.
That is even when the guides are in a different color.
This is extremely problematic, especially in cases where I want to have an image/solid color as a background for my spread, and I want to make use of the document grid and also specially placed guides.

Sporadic, haphazard emboldening of footer font on document pages

2020 Mac Mini, Apple M1 chip, 16 GB memory
macOS: Big Sur, V11.5.2I have a multipage document with a folio and page number in the footer. The footer text is a regular weight Helvetica Neue LT Std (OT) font, and the folios (page numbers) are bold; the bold is nested into the paragraph style for the footers with a GREP designation. Big Bug?With the same page size and margins, there is an offset after A is moved to B?
A file and B file have the same page size and margins.
I moved pages 1-8 of A to page 2 of B. As a result, starting from page 3, the horizontal position would shift.
They should all be right in the version, but they don't.However, if you move all the pages (pages 1-17) of file A to the second page of B at one time.
If it is correct.why is that?
The reason for the coordinates? I didn't find the reason

BUG: Page numbers say Variable
Random pages in my document are printing and displaying the Current Page Number symbol as the word "VARIABLE" instead of the actual page number.

Ajouter une fonctionnalité "État d'objet" pour les objets non imprimable en pdf intéractif
Est-il possible d'ajouter une fonctionnalité sur indesign permettant de rendre un objet (exemple : lignes noirs sur un formulaire interactif) non imprimable lors de l'impression de ce document. Donc attribuer à cet objet un "état à l'impression" dans un sens comme dans l'autre.
Une fonctionnalité qui permettrait à une entreprise de remplir son document interactif de type formulaire et si elle souhaite l'imprimer sur son copieur, que celui-ci sorte proprement sans les petits lignes. Ou à l'inverse que les lignes ne s'affichent pas en pdf intéractif mais à l'impression s'imprime pour permettre de compléter le document à la main.

Child masters don't update
I have child masters that are based on a parent master. When I update margins etc on the parent, the child masters are not inheriting those settings as they do in InDesign 2021. The only resolution appears to be changing 'based on' to something else, and then going back and changing 'based on' to its original parent.

Pages palette not populating
imac 10.11.6 (El Capitan) Using 2nd admin, InD files from 1st admin not populating Pages palette. Page icons appear but are blank.
100pp magazine with many images prepped for offset printing.
However 1st admin InD files with only text pages open fine in 2nd admin.1 vote -
Intel iRIS XE graphic graphic bugs using dual monitors
Sometime its glitch graphic appear, i had to zoom in and out to sort it out, and i didnt screenshot this time (it was big one) but sometime it does appear similar like this screenhot.
Spec: Lenovo i7 1165G, 16GB ram, 512GB NVME, IRIS XE Graphic, one laptop screen and one 24" 1080P
Does anyone experience with glitch graphic?

Thumbnails in Pages Panel are blank even though pages have content (Id 17.0, Mac Big Sur)
The thumbnails displayed in the Pages Panel show up blank even though there is content in the pages themselves. See attached. This is most likely a bug.

With linked Text Frames on a Parent Page > importing a Word uses Smart Text Reflow when unnecessairy. Please fix.

Vector Objects changing size when page layout is duplicated
While using InDesign v17 I've encountered a bug where some small rectangular vector objects will get larger when a page is duplicated using the "Create Alternate Layout" feature in the "Pages" tab. This has also occurred when a page or layout is dragged and dropped to the "Create New Page" icon to create a duplicate in the "Pages" tab. Design elements should not change when a layout is duplicated, and this did not happen in previous versions.

InDesign ignores colore profile settings
When I create a new document, InDesign no longer uses my default color profile settings. InDesign uses the default settings (sRGB/Fogra39). I can't switch it around either. I always have to manually assign my color profiles. All other apps are using fine my settings.

Just upgraded and the first file I open is duplicating lines and parts dissappear
Scrolling is impossible - I get duplicated lines and parts of the document page disappears. In order to correct I have to do command "0" and the problem clears, but the second I try to scroll to the next set of pages it does the same thing

Can't open some Indesign files in finder
Since the latest 2022 update certain Indesign files will not open via finder - either by double clicking the file icon or going command>O. The app doesn't even acknowledge your action, only workaround is by opening via the app which is an absolute pain. Absolutely ridiculous.

Dragging the mouse to select text randomly moves the entire sheet
When dragging the mouse to select text in a text box it would sometimes move the entire page and pasteboard to the left or right when reaching the text box frame. This is a very old, extremely annoying behavior. It exists at least since CS4.

Shortcuts for view at 200% 400% & 50% not working correctly
Windows 10 - Indesign CC 16.4 (only just updated today 8/10)
Issues - shortcuts
Ctrl+5 (view @ 50%)
Ctrl+2 (view @200%)
Ctrl+4 (view @400%) not working properly.Ctrl+5 is now view @ 33.33%
Ctrl+4 is now view @ 266.67%
Ctrl+2 is now view @ 133.33%The issue doesn't seem to be a thing for Mac, they work fine.
