1. Drop shadow is not updating after text is changed.

   After giving a text box saying "New Music" a drop shadow, I duplicated the field and changed the text to Limewire. The drop shadow behind it did not change.

   I've set the distance to farther than it was before to demonstrate it more clearly, also showing that the problem is not fixed after attempting to refresh it by changing settings.

   2019 iMac 27in running MacOS Catalina 10.15.7 with InDesign 15.1.1.

2. 3 Bugs one Update > Edge smoothing doesnt work correctly > Effects previews and use doesent work correctly and shredderesd text >

   After the last update, the following things no longer work properly:
   1. CC Libraries
   (Crashes and shows either a reduced or enlarged section of the library and is no longer usable. Only a program restart helps ... short term! see screenshot 1. the bug was already in Illustrator!)

   1. edge smoothing! (Not only since the update): ... Does not work properly for quite some time! 2.1 Completely covered areas, lines and graphics have a slight contour due to the edge smoothing and become minimally visible (although these would actually be invisible and not visible in print) or form minimally soft edges, or corners where there are none! (see screenshot 2) 2.2 Frames with effects and in which images are loaded whose outer edges are 100 percent transparent, form fine gray outer lines on the outer edges where there are none!
   2. effect & effect preview: no longer works properly with texts and shreds them after scaling or makes them invisible! A problem which I never had before and what worked wonderfully before the update. (S. Scrrenshot 3)

   In addition, as an addition bugs in Íllustrator with 3D extrusions and invited images on it! Bugs with Adobe RAW: Zoom Scollrad works no longer or only stuttery!

   Dear Adobe team, what is going on? The whole thing costs a lot of time, a lot of money and nerves ... infinite nerves!!!!!!!!! It's starting to remind me of QuarkXpress!

      Funktioniert seit geraumer Zeit nicht mehr ordnungsgemäß!
      2.1. Vollständig abgedeckte Flächen, Linien und Grafiken haben durch die Kantenglättung auf einmal ein leichte Kontur und werden minimal sichtbar (Obwohl diese eigentlich unsichtbar und im Druck nicht sichtbar wären) oder bilden minimal weiche Kanten, oder Ecken wo keine sind!       2.2 Rahmen mit die mit Effekten versehen sind und in denen Bilder eingeladen werden deren Ausskanten zu 100 Prozent transparent sind, bilden an den Aussenkanten feine graue aussenlinien, wo keine sind!

      funktioniert nicht mehr richtig bei Texten und zerschreddert diese nach Skallierung oder macht diese unsichtbar! Ein Problem welches ich bislang nie hatte und was vor dem Update wunderbar funktionierte. (S. Scrrenshot 3)

3. Vertical lines occur on the right side of the page when exporting to JPEG

   I'm experiencing issues when exporting my INDD-file to JPEG. It seems like the export process adds a thin, black line to the right side of the document that is not supposed to be there. Worked with InDesign for many years and never experienced anything like it, must be a bug. You don't notice this effect if you'll just use the image to upload it towards a transparent background or look at it on the screen.

   However, I'm designing posters and when sending these exported JPEGS to my printing house, they will add a frame of one additional centimetre for the printing process. Then all of a sudden there's a tiny, black line coming from nowhere. I've gone through every setting I can trying to remove this but it's just impossible. Please look into this! Screenshot attached.

6. Arrows not working in Effects Dialog Box / Drop Shadow section

   In InDesign 16.0.1 x64 in the Drop Shadow section of the Effects Dialog Box, there are some values where the arrows are not working. They are 1) Distance, 2) X Offset, 3) Y Offset and 4) Size (marked on the attached file).
   These values should change(increase/decrease) either by pressing the arrows on the keyboard or the little arrows to the left of the value. This isn't happening in the latest version of InDesign. I looked at other effects sectios and the arrows seem to work everywhere else.

7. Effect applied to frame border affects anchored image inside the frame

   After applying the effect to the frame border the anchored image inside it looses its 100% transparency.

8. some pages are transparent in Preview Mode

   In preview mode, most empty pages are white (as they should be), but some are transparent -- the pasteboard color theme shows through.

9. Effects affecting all elements instead of the selected

   Recently I've noticed that whenever I try to add an effect, it affects ALL elements as opposed to just the selected object.

   The first time I noticed, I thought it would go away when I restart the computer but it's still happening! In the screenshot below, the top left was indeed the only one that got the dropshadow treatment but as soon as I hit that add dropshadow button, all the box changed their colors (see the purple and blue box)

   Tried Googling for a solution but couldn't find any. Anybody experienced(ing) the same thing? How did you fix it?

10. Effects affecting all elements instead of the selected

11. Object Layer Options Causing Image to Glitch

    When Object Layer Options are used (top image over graphic, bottom image under graphic box, for example), the image will glitch and polarize. When moving around the document or toggling between regular view and preview mode etc, the image will sporadically go back to normal or alter its representation.

    Normal behaviour is for the image to show as expected.

16. stroke size not matching

    In the new InDesign (16.0) stroke sizes don't always match. I can put a 3-point stroke on two different objects and one looks as expected and the other is extremely thin.

    transparency effects: opacity, feather, outer glow not working when working in / viewing open document or changing settings stays 100% when viewing open document or changing settings stays 100%

    PREVIEW is turned on too.

    INDESIGN 2021 v 16.0
    iMac 27-5K late 2015
    Mojave 10.14.6 (w/ 2 rounds of recent screwy apple updates for Mojave)
    24GB RAM

    if I create a pdf, it seems to. have been applied but I can't see the effects on the monitor display > high quality.

18. Downloading PDF after publishing to Adobe

    when i publish the document to the Adobe - Cloud; it does provide me option to download to PDF; however that PDF is not interactive PDF.. is there a setting for that ?

19. Rotate effects same direction with page rotation

    When you need to rotate a page (180º) effects applied to a text frame aren't keeping the same viewable as it was originally set.

    i.e: If you have a text with a Drop shadow applied with an angle of 135º if you rotate the page 180º the effect applied is upside-down, not following the original X and Y position, it should be -45º to keep consistency, please see attached jpg

20. Share for Review (15.1, ie. June 2020) color shift due to corrupt blend mode overlays

    I feel like we've seen these kinds of issues before. But I noticed in the new "Share for Review" (InDesign 15.1) colors in a test document are shifting. A quick comparison shows that blend modes aren't been exported properly when sending a document up for "Share for Review."

    In the screen shot, you can see what I mean: Top is the Review version as viewed in browser, bottom is the correct version as seen in InDesign. Some of the modes seem ok (Multiply, Normal opacity adjustments). But most blending modes aren’t rendering correctly (Hard and Soft Light look identical; Difference is something else entirely; even Screen isn’t looking right.)

    Verified it isn't a browser issue or even an RGB export issue.

    While this doesn't affect the ability to generally review a document, I can imagine a lot of feedback along the lines of "images look wrong" if using blending modes on overlaid objects.

    Tested with both Ai objects embedded in Id document, as well as shapes created directly within Id.
