  1. jpeg export different RGB numbers

    I drew a blue box in indesign. colour #001f54
    Exported jpeg, the blue box is now #192451

    The file is set to RGB. No matter the profile or colour setting picked it exports as the wrong blue.

    I'm on 17.2.1

    I tried using 16.0
    And no matter what profile I get a different blue (#002055)

  2. picture skin tones colour change to red when I import JPEGs

    Since I updated to ID 17.1, some colours in pictures – especially skin tones of blonde people – turn reddish, when I import them as JPEGs. Please find below an example of the same picture, saved as JPEG and as TIF (in PSD the colours are identical).

    1. Adobe Indesign 2022
    2. Edit>Keyboard Shortcuts>Panel Menus>Color: Add to Swatches>Assign a hotkey. Select a color and use the hotkey to assign a color in the InDesign document, and it will 100% of the time crash the program.
    3. Expected result is to have the selected color swatch created in your swatch library.
    4. InDesign will crash/close.

  4. HSB color not behaving correctly when applied to image

  5. Swatch Tint becomes black in stead of white

    When adding a swatch color to a flat grayscale image, setting the tint makes the color darker in stead of lighter.
    See how the color preview behaves the right way, but the image does not.

  6. In the latest version of the In Design software, the color of the black and white arrow are inverted when you choose the dark themes in the

    correctly reconfigure the arrows of the selection tool (black) and the direct selection tool (White)

  7. Background Color changes to something crazy

    Background colors (that should just be white) go crazy on tables and other pages until InDesign is quit and re-opened. There's no specific action that seems to trigger the issue, and it appears intermittently. This is happening on version 16.4.0.54.

    Fill/stroke boxes missing in the swatch panel. You have to go to the left panel to change colours.

  9. Colour Profile Reset Issue / Sync Adobe Indesign 16.1

    It is becoming a bit of a issue when after updating to 16.1. The colour Profile resets to this setting. Then again going to bridge to set up the original profile again. After a few hours, closing the program, it resets again.

  10. InDesign: Changing color of TIFF

    Having an issue with InDesign. I've placed a TIFF file and its not displaying correctly when color is changed for BLACK only. See video attached. I can change the color percentage on any color but black.

    However, when a PDF is exported the changes are applied and display correctly on a PDF. This is a DISPLAY issue within InDesign. PLEASE HELP!!!

  13. Make Color Picker pickup actual color

    On an RGB-image it should take an RGB color. Escpecially when the document is set to 'RGB Blend Space'.

  14. RGB to CMYK

    Make it easier to switch between CMYK and RGB. I'm currently in RGB and have no idea how to get back to CMYK.

    My document says that I am in CMYK but when I go to edit colours or use the colour tab at all, everything is in RGB.

  16. Unreliable color management with object layer options

    (Indesign-Version 16.2)

    Hello. I've already posted in the Community and we think, it's a bug in Indesign. This was the description of my post:

    The problem is: When I use Object > Object Layer Options to show and hide layers in a .psd file, I have had the problem that the color management isn‘t working reliably.

    Sometimes, the ICC profile „Document RGB“ is displayed in the InDesign document by mistake, even though the linked image is using the ICC profile „sRGB“.

    If I do the same with placing (File -> Place -> Show Import Options -> Layers), it works.

  17. Exclude color fields in book synchronization synchronized nevertheless

    I have book files and do not want to synchronize the colors. I disable this in the synchronization options.
    The colors will still be transferred/synced to all synchronized documents.

    With InDesign 19.5 release, Swatches will always get Synchronized when Object Styles/Paragraph Styles/Character Styles are selected in the Synchronize Options dialog.


    It has also been mentioned as one of the Fixed issues on https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/kb/fixed-issues.html

  19. Applying a different swatch not always working (bug?)

    It happens every now and then that changing the color of text by selecting the text with the text tool and clicking on the desired swatch does not change anyting. You can select the desired color, but the text color stays the same. It does not seem to be document related and is not always happening. If you use the color picker to select a random color from the document, the problem disappears.
