Eyedropper tool doesn't work when InDesign is on 2nd monitor
I'm using a 2nd monitor attached to my laptop. When InDesign is on the 2nd monitor, the eyedropper tool cannot select any colors, but if all I do is move InDesign to my laptop's screen (the main screen), then the eyedropper works again. Version 19.0.1 on Windows 11.

Spot colors flagged because their name includes the word "pantone"
InDesign 19
Steps: Opening any file with manually-built spot colors with the word "pantone" in their names brings up the "this document uses Pantone colors" blue nag
Expected: that spot colors built manually, not using any installed color books, will be left alone
Actual: apparently the software flags the word "pantone", regardless of its originSummary: Manually-created spot colors are being flagged in Indesign because they have Pantone in their names. I legally purchased Pantone books in prior years, and the colors I'm using were built by referring to the builds from those books. I am not using any installed…

GPU Performance makes colours dull/desaturated
With GPU Performance enabled, all colours appear desaturated. In fact, it looks like colour management is simply turned off. Please note, this is not a Transparency Blend Space issue. It affects Spot, RGB and CMYK colours.
With GPU Performance disabled, colours appear vibrant and correct. It would be great to have this issue resolved, as I certainly want to take advantage of the GPU when using InDesign.

Error when pasting hex color code with #
When pasting a hex code with a hash character prefix (#) in InDesign 18.3 (macOS 12.6.8) you get an error that it is a incorrect color format. Even if I try to "correct" the pasted text by removing the hash character, I can‘t get InDesign to accept the pasted color code.
This annoying "bug" applies to the color window/palette.

Spotcolor channel does not export (not enough data)
Spotcolor channel does not export (not enough data for one image) from InDesign 2023 - from an older Version (2022) it exports correctly, the files that don't work any longer are also from 2020 and 2021 when everything was exportable flawlessly - we need the Spotcolor to be functional.
Spotcolor is an Extra-Spotcolor-Channel, correctly named in an TIFF in PS.

Overprint white text when color changed in stylesheet
When changing color to 'Paper' on a selected text – it automatically is set to not overprint (correct behaviour).
However if you change the color in a stylesheet, from a color with overprint, to 'Paper'. It will remain on overprint.
Also the checkbox gets greyed out. So to fix it you must choose another color, uncheck overprint, then go back to 'Paper'.InDesign 18.2.1

Table & mixed inks on InDesign 18.1
I created a group of mixed inks from 2 Pantones (432 and 2995) in 10% increments (121 shades in total).
I create a table with alternate backgrounds (FPGP2995 shades 1 and 12). Everything's good. But when I select the first line to change it to shade 121, it systematically puts it at 20%! And if I change the percentage, it selects PFGP2995, i.e. the ink group...and the line stays white! I am attaching screenshots.

EPS-Import CYMK swatch LAB
InDesign 18.1, macMOS Ventura 13.1, Mac Studio M1 Max
Lesen Sie auch hier für eine sehr ausführliche Beschreibung und Lösungsansätze mit Beispieldateien:
https://community.adobe.com/t5/indesign-discussions/eps-import-wandelt-vollton-darstellung-von-lab-in-cmyk/m-p/13512387#M512258Eine Volltonfarbe, z.B.
ANPA.

The pantone solid color books are missing with the latest 18.1 update. I have to use Indesign 2021 version now to do my work. Please fix!
please add back the pantone solid color books to indesign. It's the most needed pantone set and I can't use Indesign 2022 until this is fixed.

Texts automatically in registration mark colour
since installing version 17.3 or maybe earlier, every time you make a new text field the colour of the text is automatically in registration marks colour. Why is that? It used to be automatically black. I already checked the portrayal of black, it is set to be correct.
I wish you would change it back to be automatically black, this is causing problems in printing especially if you're not careful enough when checking your document.Sorry my Interface is in german i hope you can still follow the recording.

Exported PNGs or JPEGs RGB Colors Slightly Different Versus Illustrator Export For Screens
So here is the situation and setup.
Illustrator File with Pantone Colors (Book LAB colors)
Color Settings are synced via Bridge (NA General Purpose)
Illustrator file is in CMYK ModeIn Illustrator File is exported to PNG (via Exported for Screens)
In InDesign the same Illustrator file is placed in InDesign and then Exported as PNG file.
When looking at the attached image the RGB values are slightly different most noticeably in the red. When looked at with the eyedropper in PS the CMYK values read as the same on both but the RGB is slightly different.
For example:

eyedropper tool not sampling correct color or images color.
Eye dropper tool has not been working in InDesign properly for weeks FIX YOUR ****. I cant take colors from images. IDK what it is doing specifically but it only seems like it is sampling text properties and solids not images. Its working perfectly fine in photoshop and Illustrator just not InDesign. Should not be encountering such a simple bug on a paid service
