Have ruler bar be on the right, too, to drag out guides when zoomed in on right side of doc etc.
To prevent having to zoom out and/or change position in a document when trying to precisely visually align a guide

Thank for new versions - but the scroll button the is a dull grey atop another shade of grey is not visible enough for quick work -
i have worked as a designer for many years - please consider colour and contrast in the scroll feature for pages. As i try to proof a manuscript against another file, i must constantly search for the scroll tab in order to read more text - even a lighter shade of grey or something complementary would help the worker.

Pictures via drag and drop from the website to indesign (.png .jpg .gif....)
Copy pictures via drag and drop from the website toto indesign (.png .jpg .gif....)

Changing document defaults warning
Many beginning users often change settings without an object selected (but they think do). These settings include paragraph styles, character styles, object styles, effects, text wrap. While this is technically a feature, it causes all kinds of confusion to the beginner. How about a warning dialog box stating what they are about to do and give them an option of canceling?

Chapter Number in ToC Numbering
I'm working with a long document and it really does not make sense to use section numbering so that I can insert a prefix to page numbers (and that has to be done manually for each section anyway). Why are there not building blocks for the ToC or at the least, the ability to insert a variable?

Allow High Quality Preview turned on / off per document (Dynamic Spelling too)
Let me turn on / off High Quality preview per document, same with dynamic spelling. We have very picture-heavy documents with sometimes thousands of smaller text boxes and typically on one document need high quality preview or dynamc spelling turned on, but slows down work, when switching to others.

Create Alternate Layout - Orientation Issue
I'm not sure if this is a bug or a feature request. When creating an alternate layout from the original portrait letter size, shouldn't the Create Alternate Layout also display the same settings and orientation. It currently landscape the letter size.
I guess this works well for people who need to create a portrait and landscape version. This is not the case for me. I find myself creating either the same size and orientation or larger (poster).
This would be one less click in my process.

J'ai un document d'une centaine de page, sur toutes ces pages j'ai des hyperliens qui pointent sur différentes pages web, dans ces hyperliens j'ai un nombre a 6 chiffres qui est tjs identiques sur tout mes hyperliens, j'aimerais comme quand on utilise la fonction remplacer (ctrl+f) pouvoir remplacer ce nombre de 6 chiffre par un autre nombre sur tout mes hyperliens.
Est il possible de le faire ou de créer cette option?

Offer landscape long-edge bound view in pages panel
When designing calendars and long-edge bound landscape documents (such as flip charts), it would a tremendous help to have a setting that shows pages in two-page spreads on top of each other rather than beside each other.

Easier moving pages from one document to another
When moving pages to another document InDesign tends to make a new Alternative Layout for these, without asking.
My documents have the same page size, so please just add the pages,
or at least give the choice to append the pages or to create an Aternate Layout.

Pages panel view toggles/select applied Masters
Would be great to have the ability to select and show only specific pages with specific masters. For example, I have a doc with 50 pages, in that doc I have a few master styles applied to different pages, and would be great to view in the panel schematic just pages that have A-Master applied, or both A- and B-Master, or maybe just view all pages that have C-Master applied. Would really help speed up workflow.

Make it possible to adjust page count in the adjust layout dialog
When using the adjust layout feature to change the size of your document and content you cannot change the page count. You have to take the extra step to go back to the Document Setup to change the page count. Really, both of the tools should just be merged together and a check box is all that is needed to turn on and off the adjust layout option.

folios in reverse order
Would your team consider allowing folios to be placed in reversed order? Mangas are formatted that way…

Double truck - object that spreads across gutter
Ability to link object that spreads across double truck to both pages so that when document is viewed or exported as single pages, the object appears on both pages.

Viewing bleeds on two-page spread
Would be nice if any objects that bleed off the binding edge would be cropped to the page edge when viewed as a two-page spread.

Select all the text box in all the file to change the idiom and can use the verify correction.
To create a tool that is possible to select all of text box of all document to change the idiom. Now, I need to select word by word using 3-clicks in the individual text box in individual page to change the idiom.
