1. Side by Side Page View

   When using Adobe InDesign, it would be helpful for certain documents to be able to see two pages side by side. As of now, a simple two-page document has page two appearing below page one.

2. why can I not snap InDesign using MacOS window snapping features?

   I am unable to snap two adobe products side by side using the new MacOS Sequoia update. I can snap every app on my Macbook except adobe products. as you can see in the screenshot I have snapped my music app window to the right but adobe indesign is unable to snap. Please can you fix this annoying bug?

3. Request for Text Alignment Option for Interactive Forms Directly in InDesign

   Dear Adobe InDesign Team,

   I would like to request the addition of a feature that allows text alignment for interactive forms to be managed directly within InDesign, rather than having to perform this task in Adobe Acrobat.

   Currently, our workflow involves creating datasheets with centered ordering codes, which are frequently updated. Each update requires redoing the text alignment in Acrobat, adding unnecessary steps to our process. 4. We want the IDKL back.

   It should be possible again, that a InDesign Document is locked, when somebody opend it. It's really annoying, when more then one person can open the same InDesign Document.

5. It should be consider reading mml code by assistive tech for accessibility and need to think on providing option image or artifact

6. It is recommended that “GREP”, “Shortcuts”, “PDF preset templates” in the directory can be quoted in the directory shortcuts.

   Just as I can copy the shortcut to my script directory (D:\myscript) to the InDesign script directory (C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe InDesign 2024\Scripts\Scripts Panel\Samples), I can use my existing scripts without having to copy them to this location. 7. Multi-Lingual data handling

   This is a suggestion for a new feature for people using InDesign for multilingual purposes.

   In India, we may need to use 3 languages ​​at the same time, for example, in addition to English, we may need to use the national language Hindi and the regional language Malayalam, Tamil or some other language. In other countries, sometimes even more.

8. Option to disable the drop shadow in artboard on screen mode "Normal" of the "View" menu

   Please, enable an option to disable the drop shadow on the artboard in 'Normal' screen mode in the 'View' menu (on the right side and in the footer of the artboard/sheet). 10. Indesign 2024 not working with window-snapping apps

    I recently upgraded to InDesign 2024. I use BetterSnapTool to arrange my app-windows in order to have a efficient and practical workflow. But InDesign 2024 does not work with BetterSnapTool (BST) or any other window-snapping apps due to this reason I received from the BST support:
    "Unfortunately all window manager apps on macOS are affected by this, Adobe has broken their window resizing behavior in their recent updates. Their products do not respond correctly to window resizing requests using the macOS Accessibility API anymore. As of now I don't think there is anything I can do to fix this. If possible please also report to Adobe, they would need to fix this in their apps."
    BST works with every other application. I have reset InDesign preferences, but it still does not work properly. Therefore I still use InDesign 2023, since BST works perfectly fine with that application. The problem is that when I for instance snap ID2024 to 2/3 of the screen and I put another application in 1/3 of the screen (so far it works) but when I go to the 1/3 app and copy information and return to ID2024, ID2024 goes back to full screen again. Very annoying and it destroys my workflow. Adobe please fix this! I enclose a short videoclip to show how badly it behaves...

11. Please stop ID files flying back open from the dock (Mac)

    When I've minimised an ID file in the dock (on the Mac), work on something else and then close it, the minimised file flies back open. Or minimising a file, then opening something else, the minimised doc opens up again and comes to the front. Please make any minimised doc stay there, until I call it back. I know it's there, I put it there for a reason.

14. Please allow the Anu Script Fonts in Future adobe applications

    Must of the Telugu designers using Anu fonts only, So please adding anu script font directly type in indesign, photoshop and Illustrater

    In older versions CS2, CS3 is support for anu script

    But New versions 2024, 2025 is problem in Anu Script typing

    Please take action for support anu script in new version also

    It's when you set “Skip header rows on first page” for some tables that are actually only one page long, that's when the problem occurs.

    But I hope adobe will improve it, because you don't know which tables don't end up spanning the page.
    You forget about it, and when the client finds out, you get yelled at, or even become an accident.

    The current solution can only save as IDML, but you can't save as IDML very often.

16. Ability to set a layer to high res preview permanently

    It would be great to be able to set a layer to high res preview permanently. So that everytime you opened a document it remembered that Layer 2 for example needs to be high res preview.

    Reason for this: I work with a lot of dies in packaging, and when I link to them they always lose the high res view, but I need the high res view for the die so I can precisely design.

    Yes, I'm aware I can copy and paste the die from illustrator into InDesign, but when you are working with numerous files, it's best to link to one die so it can be changed across all files as needed.

18. Make Edit Original available with Adobe Experience Manager

    Hello, we recently implemented Adobe Experience Manager as our DAM and since then we lost the EDIT ORIGINAL option for our links in InDesign which is a heavily used feature for us given that some of our designers are spending a lot more time having to open different tools to edit each link. Anyway we can get that back?

19. New Project Window, please sync with Main Window

    1. I create a New Window for the project I'm working on, and place it on a second monitor. I do this to see the presentation mode while I edit. But when I move to new pages/spreads on the Main Window, this is not reflected in the New Window. That's not a big problem if I've moved one or two spreads. But if I have moved by a hundred pages on the Main Window, it takes a long time to move the New Window these 100 pages too.

    2. It would be a really nice feature if InDesign had a Presentation Mode for 2nd Monitor that would stay in sync with the movement between pages on the Main Window. I'm surprised InDesign does not already have this feature.

20. Support for "TDM", "PDF/UA" and "PLUS License Data Format" in XMP-Metadata

    Missing support for "TDM", "PDF/UA" and "PLUS License Data Format" in XMP-Metadata in all Adobe apps.
    There are not data fields for "TDM" (text-and-data-mining), PDF/UA (accessibility) and "PLUS License Data Format" in the UI of all Adobe apps.
    This information can currently only be added manually by import of an XML-Snippet-File in the tab "raw-data".
    Or with InDesign scripting and the library "lib:AdobeXMPScript".
