No Break Option via a keyboard shortcut.
Please incorporate a possibility to activate the No Break Option via a keyboard shortcut. I have to create a text style, which is file atttached… and not comptaible with another text style…

Display effective ppi and actual ppi of selected image at the Control panel
I'd like to see the effective ppi and actual ppi of an image displayed at the Control panel for easy of use. It's a very important information for me as I routinelly place several images on our publications and it's really cumbersome to have to open the Links panel or the Info panel just to check an image resolution while there's plentiful of unused space at the Control panel where this information could sit.

REMOVE those endless tool tips - hate them.
OH MY GOD - adobe what are you thinking??????? the software just gets more and more crowded with useless stuff for juvenile users. professionals are pulling out their hair with all the clutter. and those endless, useless tool tips. every time i paste something i'm getting a tool tip - are you people insane????????????? what happened to professionalism. you have a captive audience and now this feels like harassment. EACH AND EVERY - EVERY - EVERY - TIME i do anything i'm getting a tool tip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! make an option to TURN THESE OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Remove the floating "help with a feature items"
I wanted to share some feedback regarding a recent usability issue I’ve experienced across several Creative Cloud applications, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat.
In recent updates, each of these programs has introduced tool-specific pop-up panels or hints that appear when a tool is selected. While I understand the intent is to offer helpful tips or highlight features, these pop-ups are consistently disruptive to my workflow. They frequently appear directly over the content I'm working on and are difficult to reposition. Could we make the Background task icon animation work harder?
The current icon appears next to the share button on the top bar when we export a PDF, what about including the percentage within the revolving circle? Saves me open the tab to check for bigger docs. Thanks!

A preset to limit your FONT view to preferred language, such as the one chosen by OS/region.
I have to use Noto Sans; Its required by my work at my University.
Is there a way to limit your font view to preferred language chosen by OS/region. My font menu is a mess of languages and it's hard to navigate to choose just "Noto Sans." Try it... really.. Try and Type "Noto Sans"... I never get the one I type it's always one of the other languages versions.
- So when a user choose their working language, InDesign offer them the right set of font.
Font lists are wayyyy tooooooo long to contain all the wolds languages by default!…

Arrange features
I've been frustrated with the new way dragging a document tab to make it a seperate window forces it into a split screen first, and then I have to grab the tab again and the second time it actually makes it a new window. I'd like to be able to toggle that feature on and off (I'm sure it works for someone's workflow). Additionally, the document window edges often hides under the menu and/or below the edge of my screen. Delete unused
In several menu's 'Select unused [...]' can be found.
I think everyone uses this to get rid of unused Swatches, Styles etc.Why not add 'Delete unused [...] to the menu?

UI for tool panels to have 'fixed' sizes
Please add an option (as it may not be for everyone) to fix the size of the height of the tool panels, regardless of what tab is selected. It drives me mad that it jumps around so much, when selecting a different tab, and that resizes the entire column. Please can it just remain fixed, so all the tabs are where I left them, regardless of what's selected? The screenshots aren't even the worst that I've had, it's just two seconds of flicking through different tabs and seeing how they're all affected

Screen bug when using an external monitor with a laptop (Mac thing?)
When I have a file open, and the laptop sleeps or I close the lid, when I come back, the file is half way down the attached/big screen, instead of where I left it (full screen), it's only a little thing, but it's so annoying!! Please leave the files where I put them on the screen!

Please remove the text (GPU Preview) in the name tabs.
They take up needed space if you have several files open. I know I can turn it off if I turn off GPU but would rather not.

Persistent Tutorial Pop-ups in InDesign
Dear Technical Support,
I am experiencing persistent issues with Adobe InDesign, where tutorial pop-ups and annotations for new features continue to appear, even after repeatedly clicking the "Skip" button. This behavior is highly irritating and disrupts my workflow. Could you please advise on how to disable these pop-ups?

Quickly Change Icon Panel Auto Collapse
Depending upon the type of work I'm doing, I find myself going to Edit > Preferences > Interface and turning on or off Auto-Collapse Icon Panels.
It would be very convenient, and save several clicks, if this could be done on the Icon Panel itself, either with a checkbox or a toggle icon.1 vote -

The pop ups and changes to the UI are unnecessary and disruptive to decades of established workflow. Stop treating your established customer base like they're idiots and not design professionals. If wanted to use Canva I would.

Plug-in API to temporarily disable new feature guided tours
InDesign 2025 has several new panels (History, Math Expressions, Export to Adobe Express, Insert MathML) which have associated guided “tours” which bring up windows containing animation and/or an explanation of the new feature and how to use it. The menu items for these new panels that have available guided tours are indicated by a blue dot next to the menu item before the guided tour is viewed by the user. Pasteboard automatically resizes to larger content
use ai for something helpful like automatically resizing the pasteboard when larger content is drug onto it... (don't give me an error message when i'm too close to the edge) resize the pasteboard to encompass the content

Would like to see a faster and quicker alignment tool added to the control bar.
Would like to see a faster and quicker alignment tool added to the control bar.
Sometimes it's a bit troublesome to switch between alignment panels, so I would like to add a more direct alignment panel to the control bar.
Can quickly align to bleed, margins, centre of plate, horizontal centre, vertical centre.
There is also a function to align to a reference line (the reference line and the object are aligned to each other).It's kind of like the table control

Make background progress more visible
When InDesign is busy with a long running task, it isn't obvious without opening the rather janky Background Tasks window. Please add a small progressbar in the footer of the InDesign indicating that it is actually doing something and not just hung. I've used InDesign for years and only just now learned that the Background Tasks window exists. It's a very bizarre and non-obvious approach to showing the user that something is still happening in the background...
