The fix of the issue is now available in the latest InDesign 2022(v17.0.0.96). We recommend you upgrade to the latest version for the fix.
If you are unable to see the update, go to the Creative Cloud application and click on the context menu on the top right and click on Check for App Updates.

Adobe InDesign TeamAn error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedStill happening as of the latest update. If it's helpful, it hadn't been happening to me for quite a while and just came back with the new update released this week or last week? Nothing changed in terms of fonts being added, no new images or files. Working on a previous document that worked fine until today.

An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedyes, please! It is very disappointing that I cannot keep my endnotes in the same text box as the body copy. This would be a great option or upgrade. I can always use a page return if I want them in a separate text box, but I cannot move the endnotes without losing the referencing.

InDesign TeamAn error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedSorry to say Abhinav, but this is not fixed. It happens to me on two separate computers using two separate subscriptions to Creative Cloud. both are iMacs running the latest version of Mojave. The only solution I have is to quit and restart.

An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedYes, please. Working with gradients in InDesign is very obtuse and not very intuitive. It is very disruptive to creative workflow and I am more likely to avoid using it than to embrace it as a useful feature. I agree 100% with making this tool much more robust and versatile, very much in line with the Illustrator version.

I too am getting this error now. It seems sporadic and unpredictable. I was able to access previous reviews and create and send new ones this morning, but as of noon or so it suddenly caused an error for one of the reviewers and they were unable to comment. So I checked the file in InDesign and received the two attached errors. I cannot see any previous comments and they cannot make any new ones.
This is not the first time this has happened. I've had similar issues with other documents.
I've tried signing out of CC and back in with no luck. Also rebooted, no luck.
I am running Catalina 10.15.7
This is happening in v16.0.2
