An error occurred while saving the comment [Jongware] commentedAt the *very* least do so with files that are saved *with* previews. Apart from Bridge, I cannot recall if any other Adobe software use them – not even InDesign itself!

Dear All,
This feature is now available in latest InDesign CC version. Please upgrade to the latest release.
Thanks

An error occurred while saving the comment [Jongware] commentedNote that a lot of the above suggestions are already available through a 3rd party plugin: DTP Tools Annotations (http://www.dtptools.com/product.asp?id=anid). This works with Acrobat *comments* but not with touchup edits (which is NOT a recommended workflow by any standard; even Acrobat Pro can barely detect what changed at what position).

An error occurred while saving the comment [Jongware] commentedNot a well-thought out idea. Adobe doesn't "make the fonts" that you use (presumably you are talking about system fonts), and InDesign cannot know what font on your CURRENT system is also available on you OTHER system as well. You should have the diligence to use only fonts that are cross-platform, and use the "Document Fonts" feature in case of doubt.

An error occurred while saving the comment [Jongware] commentedThe problem is not the exporting itself. Think about it a bit longer: in what *order* should separate text frames be exported? "As they appear" page-wise? Then a running text thread may be interrupted by a separate frame. Also, text can be threaded through pages, but not 'in page order'.

An error occurred while saving the comment [Jongware] commentedHow would this suggestion be different than the current "Go Back/Go Forward" options in the layout menu? (https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/using/viewing-workspace.html#turn_pages)

It's a good idea. Currently I use Quick Apply - Ctrl+Enter - for this, even though scripts are not included by default - you have to enable that first - and you need to disable as much as possible of the other options, to prevent swamping the list with unrelated commands.
