Missing strikethrough, replace text, and highlight options on share for review web link
We're using the public (with password) share for review option for our annual report because we didn't want one-time reviewers to have to make an account.
I thought that's why I was only seeing the draw and thumbtack options on the online review. But after updating InDesign the options appeared today. And then they disappeared again and I can't get them to come back.
I hope this feature can be fixed. It was so much easier to make the updates from the comments then emailed edits and scans of people markups that they PDF'd.
We had one other issue before, but I don't know it it's been fixed. My boss wanted me to start the review even though we were missing content in the middle of the report.
When the middle info was added, the comments for pages after the middle section were marked on the middle pages. For example, a comment on page 25 stayed on page 25 even though the text was now on page 30.

Resetting browser settings has made all the Tools available.

Resetting the browser did show the tools and marks on the web version, however, the strikethrough or highlight marks visible on the web, does not show on the indesign file. It only shows the comments

This seems to be a constant issue. I shouldn't have to clear my browser every day.

I think it's working now. I noticed it was working in Edge. After I cleared cookies, history etc. from Chrome it worked.

Thanks. I did relink and refresh the browser. I saw them, but then they disappeared again. I've even tried renaming the file and creating a new link, but they are still not showing up.
Don't know if it matters, but I have to connect to my company's VPN and then open InDesign to get the share for review to work. Guessing that's a setting they set up.
I also tried setting up a brand new document and pin and draw are still the only two tools showing up.

If you had created Share for Review using InDesign 2020 (v 15.1/v15.1.1/v15.1.2), then you will see only 2 Tools in the browser - Pin and Draw.
The new Text Tools in Share for Review - Highlight, Strikethrough, and Replace are available only if :
1) You initiate Share for Review from InDesign 2021.
2) You open a document that was created in an earlier version and initiate Share for Review from InDesign 2021.
3) For Share for Review created from InDesign 2020 (v 15.1/v15.1.1/v15.1.2), you click on the Update Link button in the Share for Review panel in InDesign 2021. (You may have to hit the Refresh button in the browser if the Review was already open there).--
