Share for Review
Share for Review does not seem to be working even after another update.
I sent an invitation by "Invite Only". My client received an email with a link and the only 2 options available for my client are "Sign in with an Adobe ID" – 99% of my clients will not HAVE or NEED an Adobe ID.
The second option is "Enter a password if one has been shared with you." Unfortunately, I was not given the option to set up a password. However, when posting publicly I could.
And lastly, when I update the file (link), there was no notification email sent to inform my client that the file had been modified, yet I am getting email notifications. Maybe that's because I have an Adobe ID.
I tried creating a new test but it look as though all the comments go away if one chooses that route. But if I have to go that route, honestly, I'd rather just keep emailing clients.
@Adobe, right now, all the potential is there for something great. However, this is an epic fail in my eyes. And mostly, I'm really getting tired of feeling like I'm a beta tester.
@Adobe: One last thing, when you fix this, as I am sure you will. MAKE IT THE SAME ACROSS ALL OF YOUR PRODUCTS FOR CONSISTANCY. Please.
If client does not have Adobe ID and does not want to create one (it’s free to create), then instead of choosing to send an ‘Invite Only’ Share for Review link, designer should send a ‘Public’ link to the reviewers.

I created a private share, specified the email of who to share it to, a person that does have an Adobe id and who was even using Indesign and other apps at that moment.
He got an email with a link. Upon clicking it he gets a "no permission" error.
I have to agree with Anonymous, these things shouldn't get past internal testing. But this has been feature for a while and I would assume someone would have fixed this by now. After trying a couple more times, I used the "update link" button once and then asked them to click the link again and somehow it allowed him to view the file. But the very next time we tried to share another doc it failed for permissions again even with me choosing update link beforehand.
Could be a handy feature, just glitchy or not thought out enough. No one wants to share internal docs publicly. If you give us the option to share it private and specify users to send links to it should just open for them. They shouldn't need an Adobe ID or to be logged in even if they have one.

Any news on how to acces the password? Agree, potentially great feature but why putting it out there if it's not ready?
