PDF Hyphenation Bug when line has cross-reference, hyphenated word, and option is to create Tagged PDF
When exporting an InDesign document to PDF, the hyphenated word is displayed incorrectly in the output PDF.
It only happens with a line that has cross-reference object, hyphenated word, and option is to create Tagged PDF.
InDesign 2019 (14.0.1) (MAC/PC) . Also tried it with previous versions and it has the same issue.

Thanks for reporting the issue. We are looking into it

i can‘t recommend the bug with a new document.
but if i open my indesign files from indesign 14.x every automatic hyphenation will ignore in the pdf export.if i convert the automatic hyphenation in a manuell versionat the same place. it would be exported.
with a totally new document the bug didn‘t exists. -

I am also experiencing this bug, but anywhere in a document exported with the "Create Tagged PDF" export setting turned on, rather than only where there are cross-references. Turning this setting off fixes it, as does inserting a discretionary hyphen at any such break-points.

In March 2020 this issue is stil present in inDesign 15.0.2 (OSX).
I can confirm that the bug can be circumvented by deselecting " Create Tagged PDF" when exporting.
