Background Task Animation Error
Adobe InDesign CC 2018 13.1 (latest version)
macOS High Sierra 10.13.4 (latest version)
Expected result: When a Background Task is being run, the animated progress bar to rise and fall (ex. 0,1,2,3,4,5,4,3,2,1,0,1...)
Actual result: When a Background Task is being run, the animated progress bar rises and falls incorrectly (ex. 0,1,2,3,4,5,4,3,2,0,1,1,2...)
I notice this a lot since I am exporting multiple PDFs a day. As soon as each is done, I need to copy them to send via emails/upload to other servers/etc.
Background Task Animated Icon has been changed in the recent version of InDesign. It is now shown as a rotating cursor (instead of the stacked cards/hamburger type icon in previous versions).

This is solved with the latest update to 15.1 (Apparently though, they took the easy way out) :D
Still, thanks for the fix!

I'm glad I am not the only one going bonkers - It even still does it in the 2018/end of 2019 version still. Think it even goes over in 2020.

Hahaa, this issue probably has the lowest of priorities, but still sooo anoying.
Can't help but stare at that faulty loop whenever it appears ^_^ -

I wonder when this will end up getting fixed...

Since the CC2017 the "activity in background" animation is wrong. Not an important bug, but every time I export a pdf I see this wrong animation :)
