Scrolling too slow
Adobe needs to improve scrolling speed. When using the slider, InDesign can't keep up with it.

Which version of InDesign are you currently using and what is the operating system you are on? Does this happen in some specific cases or always for you?

I just upgraded to v 18.0, and this started happening when I scroll and zoom in or out. The scrollbars and rulers change, but the page stays frozen for several seconds and then catches up. I tried relaunching InDesign and rebooting, and the problem persists.

Hi,
I use Indesign 2021.
The software is good and I like the features.
Nevertheless, the performance is very poor.Scroll, zoom and pan should be smooth in todays computers.
There's no excuse for the poor performance.I hope Adobe solve's this soon because I'm looking for alternatives.

I am using InDesign CC 2017 with Windows 10 Home 64-bit.
It always happens whenever I scroll too quickly (on my new computer with i5 processor and another computer running Windows 10 Home 64-bit with an i5 processor).
Adobe Reader responds much better.
