Individual PDFs - prefix page number
Thanks for the new export to individual pages!!! Would it be possible for the page number to be a prefix? My InSite provider wants the page numbers in the front of the file name. Perhaps it could be an option along with suffix?
Otherwise I'm stuck batch renaming all my files before uploading which is just adding another step to make a mistake.
Thanks.

This would be an ideal solution if you are only producing part of a publication but require a quick export of the PDFs with the page numbers as a prefix (which is requested by all the printers I work with). Often, with the magazines I work on, the ad PDFs are produced by a separate team so it would make it much easier if exporting individual PDF files using page number a prefix from InDesign was an option. And also very helpful if you can also do it while exporting from a book file.

I need to produce single-page pdfs for our printer, who require a page-related prefix. I'm creating a workflow for a less experienced colleague and having more options within InDesign would enable me to control the process better.

I'd like this for jpg export too, I design like 9 sizes of web ad along with single page print ads in the same file, I can easily set section prefix in page numbering but can't export this, yet it includes page numnbers automatically. WHYYYYY it seems so easy to include as a feature? Why can't we simply tick a box that includes section prefix in file name on export? Or, let us number our pages ourselves rather than only automatic options. Pretty please!

I still can't believe this is not an option.

Since InSite is widely used in the business, this would be a benefit to a lot of users—like us.
It could be an option, since oftentimes we need the suffix as well. -

This is exactly what I am looking for. My printer won't accept pdfs with the page number as a suffix. Incredibly frustrating to have to export or rename every page individually.

It would help certain workflows a lot. A little like you can rename Artboards in Illustrator
Ex:
Doing non-facing pages, each page is a different size or goal.
We could name them GDN_160x600px, GDN_320x50px... or InStore_A4, WindowPoster_60x160cm.....Benefits:
- Making ONE template file for all the campaign's sizes. and not opening/coping tens of files.
- Illustrator is too slow to manage 15+ posters with over 1 meter in size.
- Exporting all the campaign's formats in one batch.
- Not adding a textbox near each page explaining what this page is for.I know that InDesign's core is "make ONE book per file" but it is the only Adobe app that excels at managing huge print formats without slowing down.
