Option to split table rows across pages

Lord please, if you're up there, answer our INDD prayers and make this a feature. A LOT of tables have rows with more content than can be held in a single page or bottom of a page. It's impossible to layout a continuous book or brochure if I can't get the table text to split - it doesn't have to be the default, but give me the option - please, please. WORD does this, be better than Word!!

    2019: "We have started to work on this feature. Will be sharing the beta builds soon."

    It has been THREE YEARS since then. How long does it take to implement this feature?

    Need this badly for a document right now. Please get it done soon!
    Has anyone checked the beta builds to see if it is available there?

    I actually had to use WORD for the first time in years to achieve what I needed with a document recently. And this is in professional work!

    When selecting 'repeat header row once per page' in InDesign, please have InDesign export so that only that first Header row text is <THead> and all the body text is in one single <TBody> tag!

    It should not be that you have to manually artifact the duplicate Header row text and then move all body rows under the first body row page - especially for tables that span many pages.

    Abhinav Agarwal (Sr. Product Manager, Adobe InDesign) This was noted as "in the works" in 2019 ... and is now in the backlog?? What is the status?
