Cross-reference dialog: sortable picker / resizable window
Every time I place a new cross-ref or edit a broken one, it opens that "Edit cross-ref" window, which is not resizable, where a lot of space is wasted and where the most import part, the list of headlines to pick from, is not the biggest part. Then I would select a paragraph style from that very small list on the left where some style names may even be wider than the list field. And when picking from the list on the right, it is not sorted aphabetically by default. Please put something we can click to sort. Imagine you have a list of 100+ entries there - it can take a while to find the one you want. This is a base feature lacking since many ID versions.

The request for the search field was not from me, but is actually a good idea. If there are many headlines in a document it's often hard to scroll the list in this tiny window, even you can narrow down the list to a specific style.

Along the same idea, add ability to enter text to search for a specific destination. For example, if "decla' is typed, text like Declaration, declarations and declaring would pull up and be selectable. Also, agree with the wasted space in the box. Except I understand multi languages require space since some languages are longer than others.
Adding a search bar would be helpful as well.

Thanks Maik for making this request.
Do you think if we added a search field on the top of the paragraphs list, that would help make it easier for you to find the correct paragraph?
