The indesign "edit original" menu should go to the worksheet of the illustrator.
When displaying the multi-page illustrator document with the indesign "edit original" menu, a random page is opened. The workspace of the "edit original" menu in the illustrator must be centered on the screen.

offer a senior discount please
I am now retired and offer my design services gratis to many charities and organizations.. While you offer discounts on your photography software I do not see any on Indesign. Many of us who used Indesign while working no longer have access.. Please consider helping others by offering a monthly discount.

easier navigation
Can you please make it easier and faster to scroll and zoom? scrolling by clicking and holding the mouse wheel and zooming in and out with the mouse wheel (just like in Revit)

Embed file option while placing the image in the page
Many-a-times after placing a Image, we need to Embed that as we don't want that to stay connected to the source.
That's why what we want is that before placing a Image, there should be a Link/Embed Option as there is in Illustrator so that I do not have to manually go to Links Panel and Embed it from there for every single Image. It will faster the work process2 votes -
Target cell styles in find/change
Working with long tables would be easier if find/change could be limited by cell style.
It would be even better if this find/change could include inserting text when there is nothing present in the cell.

Custom Workspaces - Save to Cloud

Does Boot Camp Work on the M1 Macs?
Sadly, the short answer is no. It’s probably not what fans of the M1 chip want to hear but because Apple switched away from the Intel models to Apple silicon and decided to kill the Boot Camp assistant, the old way of running Windows on Macs is not possible.

Caption setting: Why paragraph style, not object style?
Its "displacement" is not very easy to use, I generally still need object style to control the caption.
If you can use object styles directly, it's easy? Because object styles can call paragraph styles, there are more settings.
I hope Adobe will pay attention to this problem.

Allow login from multiple adobe accounts on the same machine at the same time.
My job pays for InDesign and I pay for Photoshop/Lightroom. The fact that I cannot just have both logins running at the same time is insane. I have started paying for InDesign personally because it was just easier.

Ability to track large file sizes cause
It would be a useful feature to allow users to be able to track down what in their documents is causing their file sizes to be inflated. The feature would be an audit of what is in the document and how it is directly linked to the final file size of the document. This would really help in keeping bloat in the files down to minimum, or choose alternative ways to configure files.

History panel a la Photoshop
Photoshop has a history panel, extremely useful when undoing edits, or simply reviewing them, etc. This would be awesome in InDesign, and all other Adobe programs too.

Enlarge the size of the panels; so hard for the eyes with PAO after 40 years (Illustrator and Photoshop have this option in user/interface)

Cela fait des années qu'à chaque màj d'inDesign j'attends qu'Adobe permette enfin (comme déjà dans Photoshop, et Illustrator) qu'Indesign autorise dans ses préférences l'AGRANDISSEMENT DES CARACTERES ET/OU DE SES PALETTES!!! Il y a des milliers de graphistes de plus de 40 ans qui se tuent les yeux avec ces palettes miniatures lorsqu'ils deviennent presbytes!!!. Quand on est graphiste, on pleure de mal à la fin de la journée. J'ai tout essayé et moi aussi pas la place de mettre un deuxième écran! j'ai essayé avec iPad Pro et Duet, mais l'affichage le plus bas…3 votes -
Indesign Lite, but different to the already suggested
Indesign comes with a lot of features you never use. Features like the absolutely annoying and nasty Creative Cloud and its client, the even nastier CCX, the constant updates which lose compatibility between almost every next version and the previous one, the CC library which doesn't work at all (it should host any kind of object, but it doesn't), InCopy. Remove all that and let us just use what we need.
