An error occurred while saving the comment George Krompacky commentedHow is this still a thing? Creating an ePUB with separate chapters that each have endnotes is basic functionality for the application. I've been puzzling over why my ePUB endnote links aren't working and aren't validating and it turns out it's a bug that's been around for almost THREE YEARS? Unbelievable.

Adobe InDesign teamAn error occurred while saving the comment George Krompacky commentedSame issue here. MacOS 10.14.6 and ID 15.0.1. At first I thought I had to open a document from the File menu to get the keyboard to work, but in fact clicking in an input field gives the keyboard focus.
To clarify why this is a good idea: as you search through a long document, the spread bounces around and the found text is frequently covered up by the search box. For example, I do a GREP find/change to put longer acronyms in small caps. During the search I frequently have to use the "keep spread in window command" to see the found text and determine if I want to apply small caps. It's a real pain and completely unnecessary.
