An error occurred while saving the comment Paul Nylander commentedI've found this error occurs if I have other page elements, such as a footer in the master page.
And, yes, as of 2022's Id 17.4, this bug is still present.

Book panel is a special type of panel that is always associated with the .INDB file – unlike other panels where there is no actual association with a file on disk. The panel also shows the name of the Book file. If that INDB file is deleted, then the panel does not have any meaning.
Only when the Book file is opened is the Book panel available. So it can’t be part of a workspace & thus its size and location also can’t be fixed as there could be multiple Book files that can be opened simultaneously.—

The option to increase the size of Anchor Points, size of Direction Handles, and Bounding Box Display size was included in InDesign 2022 release.
This option can be found in the Preferences dialog > User Interface Scaling.
The size can be increased in 4 increments from Small to Large.

An error occurred while saving the comment Paul Nylander commentedUnfortunately, the adjustment is global in that ALL handles and actors grow (or shrink) proportionately. This means that to make the tiny frame handles comfortably sized, all the other handles are now too large!
So, I would say this is still NOT fixed.

Hi everyone,
InDesign provides an option to export and import User Settings, providing users with a smooth and enhanced experience to restore their custom settings if needed. The feature is now available in the latest InDesign 2024(v19.3.0.058)

Agreed. The Chicago Manual of Style has clearly defined where a URL may break across lines, and it is a mess trying to get InDesign to honor those rules. Setting a "hyperlink" character style to "no language" can help avoid added hyphens, but the punctuation breaks (such as before a period, or before a single slash, or before a hyphen) are important to conveying URLs in printed material.
