Hi everyone,
InDesign provides an option to export and import User Settings, providing users with a smooth and enhanced experience to restore their custom settings if needed. The feature is now available in the latest InDesign 2024(v19.3.0.058)

Same here. Either let the user disable the search feature or don't liste "All paragraphs" because there can be 1000s. While working on this please finally add a feature to sort the listed items alphabetically, especially when it's numbered headlines.

...or invest in some backup solution with CD, DVD, Blu-ray, harddrive, NAS or whatever type of storage. Indesign is not responsible for your data loss. It has a reliable feature to restore documents after a crash, that suffices.

Ok, but this is not the "post your bugs" forum. You are probably unheard.
Possible solution: save the file as 2019 version and then open again. -

Take it a step further and handle a text box as a table with one cell. Or vice versa, handle a table as a text box with strokes and multiple cells. Other request would be instantly fulfilled. Like foot notes...
