    - How was the document shared with the other user in your organisation (for example, via Cloud Documents, packaged files, or another workflow)?
    - Did you or your co‑user encounter any crash or document recovery operation during this workflow?
    - If possible, could you share the affected document or a similar, shareable sample that demonstrates the issue?

    Hi Tomas,

    Thank you for reaching out. To help us investigate this further, could you please confirm which version of Adobe InDesign you are currently using?

    Additionally, it would be helpful if you could share the steps you follow that lead to the file being labeled as AI-generated so we can try to reproduce the behavior on our side.

    Also, are you placing any images or external assets in your InDesign document? If the label is coming from images, there is an option to disable this in the Preferences menu under Generative AI tab.. Please let us know so we can guide you with the exact steps.

    Thanks for reporting this.
    What you’re seeing is the alt text icon -canvas indicator, which currently can’t be disabled and doesn’t scale with zoom. The Alt Text preferences don’t affect this behavior.
    We understand it can be distracting and have shared this feedback with the team for consideration.

    The fix of the issue is now available in the latest InDesign 2026(v21.0.0.192). We recommend you upgrade to the latest version for the fix.

    If you are unable to see the update, go to the Creative Cloud application, click on the context menu on the top right, and click on Check for App Updates.

    The fix of the issue is now available in the latest InDesign 2025(v20.5.0.048). We recommend you upgrade to the latest version for the fix.

    If you are unable to see the update, go to the Creative Cloud application click on the context menu on the top right, and click on Check for App Updates.

    Could you please confirm whether the freezing occurs when the user disable the plugin from the Creative Cloud App?

    If the issue also happens with a UDT as well, please provide the plugin that includes the manifest.json file and video illustrating the issue.
