Hi everyone,
InDesign provides an option to export and import User Settings, providing users with a smooth and enhanced experience to restore their custom settings if needed. The feature is now available in the latest InDesign 2024(v19.3.0.058)

Have you tried enabling the “Layout Adjustment” feature and then carrying out change of Page size?
Thanks,
Adobe InDesign teamAn error occurred while saving the comment Matt commentedAnd BTW, Ravi....this doesn't resolve anything. Using the 'layout adjustment' feature simply scales all the content to 'fit' the new page size. It DOES NOT CENTER the placed content on the new page size.
This program is just slightly above 'useless' level.
An error occurred while saving the comment Matt commentedThis is just another glaring example of why Adobe is losing market share to Canva. This is a fairly simple, common task for people using this program in the print industry - yet Adobe has 'improved' the program and made an essential function virtually impossible to execute.
And for this, we get the honor of paying 40% more for this bad software in the coming year.
I despise this collection of programs and company.

An error occurred while saving the comment Matt commentedAnd....it still doesn't work. Spent over 2 hours on the phone with support specialist, they remotely attempted numerous fixes on my computer with no success. They called back today to tell me that it's an ongoing issue with Indesign CC and they have no idea when it will be resolved.
$750 annually for a program that's constantly updated, if you don't update it doesn't function correctly, they keep screwing it up so as soon as you figure one thing out they change it. This is why people pay 1/6 the cost of this nonsense set of programs for Canva. I only ever use/need Indesign, Illustrator, and once every 3 months I'll have to use Photoshop....but instead, I get inundated with bloatware and **** I don't need, want, or can use. In addition, because the craptastic stuff is cloud based the performance level SUCKS.
The answer is find a copy of the legacy version (CS3/4/5), install it, and use that for most of what you need daily. It's much, much more efficient than this nonsense.

1. Doesn't tell you where you should save the exported user settings.
2. Doesn't say if the 'saved' user settings will load when you re-open the program, WHICH IS A KEY ELEMENT.
