this is the same as my post titled "collapsed panels on the right side won't open" and another post titled "palettes stay closed"
my current workaround is assign R as a shortcut to reset my workspace so I don't have to close the program every 3 minutes.
Sure hoping for a fix soon!

I sent an email, but will also include it here:
version 21.0 ME
collapsed panels on the right side don't always open when clicked on, it may work for a while but then stops until I reset my workspace, then it works for a while and then stops again.I tried creating a new workspace but still happens.
This is really difficult to deal with. Coworker has same issue.
Please see attached pdfIs there anything else I can tell you?
It's still happening in version 21.0.2 and also I can't resize the program window from the either side or from any corner. Sometimes if i keep trying, it will eventually work, but other times I could try 10 times and it won't resize.
We are getting so frustrated.

It appears that the 19.2 update fixed this issue if the original text was justified, but the issue still remains in version 19.4 if it was right aligned.

The fix of the issue is now available in the latest InDesign 2025(v20.3.1.073). We recommend you upgrade to the latest version for the fix.
If you are unable to see the update, go to the Creative Cloud application click on the context menu on the top right, and click on Check for App Updates.
