In InDesign, pressing Shift with the Eyedropper Tool to grab a specific color from an Image (like JPG, etc.) works.
It will not work if you try to grab to use Shift with Eyedropper to grab a specific color from a Gradient filled object.

“Place Video from URL” option has been restored in the latest InDesign update – version 15.1.
Please update InDesign to use the feature.

Thank you everyone for your continued patience! Apple just released the macOS High Sierra 10.13 Supplemental Update. This will fix the cursor issue with InDesign on macOS High Sierra. Please go to the App Store to update.

Hi, it doesnt concern a gradient but a usage like this:
selecting a word in a text bloc, grabbing just the color of another text/vector objet in the same Indesign document, the selected text just coloured as the target eydropper grab the objet colour. This usage work well on my old PC with In 17.0, not on 19.0 on 14.1 iOS
