This is a macOS10.13 issue, specific for some Intel GPU cards. Apple has fixed(partially) this issue inside macOS10.13.4 released build.
Following are the workaround for resolving this issue.
1) Update your mac machine to latest macOS10.13.4. Here, Apple has fixed this issue to some extent. You will face very less number of rendering issues.
2) Disable GPU preview and set display performance as typical.Once you have updated to macOS10.13.4 .You might still face some rendering issues. Since, Apple has not fixed this issue completely.
Please switch off GPU rendering for these cases and report a separate post for tracking.Sami Gale supported this idea · -

Hello All,
Kindly provide more information about this ask. How do you plan to use the Action Panel in InDesign? Do you want it to work exactly like that in Photoshop? What are the most important actions/operations that you want to record?
Thanks
Abhinav Agarwal
Product Manger – InDesignAn error occurred while saving the comment Sami Gale commentedHey Abhinav - thank you for asking!
I love how the photoshop actions do the following:
- record/stop/edit (I'm not a coder so this helps me to have a baseline I can copy)
- assign hotkeys, so I can run it from my streamdeck/keyboard maestro
- have a macro which calls another macro. Although PS not having an option to call the same macro more than once for an if then loop incredibly frustrating)For me personally I use the photoshop acrions for:
1. Changing colours (this would be infinitely useful to be able to modify swatches - or better yet please include swatches in datamerge also).
2. running exports with all the details preset so I'm literally just hotkeyings one thing
3. showing and hiding layersI agree with others that being able to call on actions like apply styles, outline, colour, etc would be infinitely useful
Sami Gale supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment Sami Gale commentedHow is this not already a thing? This is part of my day to day in photoshop and illustrator. For me, hiding and showing layers. Basically anything that I can do in the app should be actionable - like photoshop.
I create a bunch of template files and update colours and a few graphics every month. I wish I could have the option for an input box which can then change the value of an item (for example changing "SWATCH COLOUR 1", Change the month to "February". I already have one data merge in my indesign file, so a second data merge would be helpful too.

An error occurred while saving the comment Sami Gale commentedAbsolutely agree. I use a mailmerge to change a whole bunch of documents monthly and then i have to sit there and update the swatches manually to match the new graphics. The swatches are not only applied to text and boxes but also on object styles so they colour png graphics to match. PLEASE update this Adobe!

An error occurred while saving the comment Sami Gale commentedThe easiest workaround is to open your links panel, select all the items which have been moved and say relink to folder and then navigate it to the new folder. It's not perfect but it definitely works if you keep the same folder structure/names and filenames.

Hey Adobe can we please bump this? I previously have used inner shadow (and inner glow) but have found the following limitations:
1. When working with larger object sizes you end up with lines through the middle or edges. For example a 12x12" paper. Yes even when the sizing is maxed out in the shadow/glow settings.
2. As there is not direct, make it this colour, you need to do combinations of shadow/glow to achieve a certain colour.
