We completed the investigation and came up with the following: Either the issue has been resolved in the most recent release of InDesign (Refer to InDesign Release notes), the issue was intermittent at the time of reporting and is no longer reproducible, or the InDesign version mentioned in the report is no longer covered by Creative Cloud Support Policy.
We would recommend you upgrade to the latest version as it is more robust. Refer to Share InDesign documents for review to easily share your InDesign documents with collaborators for feedback and review. If you are still facing this issue even after updating it Contact Adobe support.

The Library CC panel does have a search input component.
The same component could be reused in the Swatches and Styles panels to filter items by name.
As a use case example, the Google material palette counts 254 colors (e.g. Purple 400, Indigo 700)...
At the moment, the user has to scroll intensively to select a color, or check the current selection.
Being able to type in "400" would present every shades of the 400 tint.
Being able to type in "Purple" would present every tints for Purple and Deep Purple...This simple text filter feature would bring a huge productivity in my design process.

Scrolling in and out also provides a way to refresh the display and make the text reappear.

The bug may occur when selecting text. The current paragraph disappears during text selection. Then, on mouse release, the sibling paragraphs of the same style disappear.
The bug also occurs on a simple click in the text. The sibling paragraphs of the same style disappear.

Slightly different behavior here:
1. Restart InDesign
2. Open a single document
3. Share for review will show details of another document...
