My UI is tiny and I can't work out how to increase the size of the menus etc1 vote
This does not happen when overriding master elements on a page manually - everything works as expected i.e. the textFrames don't move.
I'm using InDesign 14.0.2 x64 on Windows 10.1 vote
When scaling or repositioning objects contained within a group, the object should snap to other objects within that group (when smart guides are enabled)1 vote

I'm using InDesign cc 2019 with a Mac. The shift key has stopped working for alignment or when paired w/option or command keys.1 vote
this is a bug, not a suggestion of new feature. On a page with Master Page A applied, the feature in Master Page A is detectable , pickable, and get union with object added to the page (e.g. a picture become embedded in the master page black rectangle )1 vote

When i update linked pictures (where i used bevore a special formatting for example size in frame) then i loose this formatting by refreshing the picture in the link-tool. i testet all the preferenzes but every time it resets the size.1 vote
Apply a style to some text.
Make some change to this paragraph which changes the layout of the paragraph in some way. For example apply a first line indent different from the one in the original definition.
Now remove the override (I always do this from the paragraph styles panel).
The override is indeed removed, but the paragraph doesn't redraw, and it's unreadable until I page up/ page down, which forces the redraw. This certainly isn't the end of the world, but it would all run a lot faster if this didn't happen. :)

Jag skulle vilja att ni i Indesign skapade möjligheter att spara olika inställningar i en lista, på olika skuggor jag gör för bildramar och bokstavs skuggor. Nu finns inget sådant! ....Torgny1 vote
When importing images into indesign I am experiencing a random bug on several different documents - when importing the image normally fits to the frame but in this bug it creates a random sized frame that is bigger than the image which stops me placing things the size I want them.1 vote
When I try to adjust a master page in Indesign cc2019 (14.0.1) it makes a real mess. It used to be that if I had, for instance, a master page with a 6p margin on all sides and including threaded text boxes across the spread, if I changed the outer margin to 7p instead, the text box would automatically fit the new space. Now, the text box box turned into a very tiny box in the inner margin that has no relation to the margins I have set. In addition, other boxes on the page which are not part of the threaded text jump into strange and useless positions. For a book designer this is a nightmare. It means when you are working on a design you spend endless extra time readjusting boxes that then, for some reason don't always work correctly on the actual book pages. This NEVER happened in CC2018 so I think it's a bug or at any rate a major mess-up. Please fix!

Edges of images (usually around a few mm) are randomly not showing in various documents, I have to nudge the image to make it appear - switching between display performance modes sometimes makes it display correctly, sometimes not. This has only been the case since the 2019 update.1 vote
When defining paragraph style with space before, the result is space after.
Used independant paragraph style.

If I have a custom size page in the document (with it's own custom margins), that is smaller than the documents default margins – I get an error message every time I make InD active.
-Make new document – A4 with 20 mm margins
-Add one page
-Change margins on new page to 0 mm
-Change with of new page to 10 mm width
-Reactivate InDesign – Error message shown1 vote

I need to add a few points of space before a styled paragraph to base align two columns. I add them in the paragraph box, but nothing happens and then the amount reverts to the original amount. How can I override? Never had this problem with previous versions of ID; I'm using the newest one.0 votes
