When trying to make a new doc does not allow me to because margins were set to big on last doc
On last doc I made I needed big margins, so
- previous doc I made 350mm margins
- went to make new file
- new doc
- made dims of page smaller like 150mm x 1000mm
- error warning saying not allowing me to make doc due to big margins
- try to change margins its not letting me make doc.
In old versions of indesign it would just make massive margins that would meet in the middle like a tiny pink square in middel of page, then let you make the doc without any warning and then you would just reset you margins if you wanted them.
This blocking of making new doc is not expected or fluid, I had to try about 10-15x to make the doc, eventually I switched to auto page layout and reduced margins there and it let me, but the warning is not clear.
This is just wrong, coming from some one who used Quark from 1993-1999, Page maker 1994-96, Indesign 1999-2026 almost everyday.
Really its just wrong and a massive bug. I should not be blocked from making a file just for having margins on my last doc too big.
