ID Arabic-Enabled incorrect full stop position with "soft return"
1. ID version: 2024 Arabic enabled.
Description:
Text error when a soft return is used at the end of one sentence, the following text will place the full stop at the wrong end of the text.
See attached videos which indicate the correct behavior on ID 2023, and the incorrect behavior on ID 2024.

Steps to reproduce the issues:
Open file "ID2024OKon2023ERRORon2024.indd" on ID 2023, apply a soft return as indicated in video "ID2023.mov", all is OK.
Open same file on ID 2024, apply a soft return as indicated in video "ID2024.mov", the full stop on the next sentence is placed in the wrong position.Expected result:
When "soft return" is used, the final "full stop" must stay at the left side end of the arabic text.Actual result:
When "soft return" is used, the final "full stop" is moved to the right side end of the arabic text.

Hello Nabil, my team and I are facing the same problem but not only with soft returns. InDesign with Arabic support seems to randomly misplace the "full stop" at the end of paragraphs and it is very difficult to spot especially in long documents.
Also the quotation marks are flipped sometimes.I contacted Adobe support and they advised me that it is a bug in the version 19.01. They helped me to downgrade to version 19.0 until the bug is fixed. This will not require conversion of the files created in the newer version.
Unfortunately, the files already created in version 19.01 will need to be fixed manually.
I hope this helps temporarily.
