Seriously... this window just keeps getting wider and wider, and there seems to be no control to resize it. Mine is currently measuring 1774 px x 461 px. If it gets much wider, it won't fit on my screen anymore.

have the exact same problem!!! window splash/popup interface problem/bug.
it is March 2023 and it persists across OS & IDcc versions.
also other panels won't resize, have to reset the workspace frequently, splashes/panels/windows not 'grabbable' by mouse.... so many interface bugs!!!
