Running OS Big Sur 11.0.1 on 2019 Mac 27", InDesign 16.0.77. Crashing program the moment I click on an image file on a page in InDesign.

• Reproducible Steps – What were you doing when InDesign crashed?
• Video recording of the crash?
• Is(Are) the issue related to a specific document(s)/asset(s)? If yes, could you provide the document(s)/asset(s) to us? Please package the entire document (To package the document, choose File → Package…)

The program submitted multiple crash reports. I sent them all to Adobe. As I said, the moment I clicked on any image file, the program crashed. I tried this with multiple different InDesign documents, with different image files. So not related to any one document, it crashed on the few that I tested this on. The image files were as small as 12 kb, or as big as 24 mb.
I did solve the issue, by deleted the InDesign preference file, and restarting.
