    I am ha ving this same issue and they don't see to be addressing this at all.
    Its a huge problem to not be able to work on files you're in the middle of! It cost me 2 hours of work time over the weekend .

    You cannot use InDesign 2021 to open files created in previous versions. When you try, the files "convert" and while the text and images are there, you cannot see them in the window or work on them. Its really frustrating and cost me almost 2 hours of work time after I upgraded and then had to delete and reinstall 2020. This should be fixed ASAP and I am not even seeing it on your list
