Applications freezing while exporting/saving
Hey Team,
Indesign ocasionally freezes while hitting cmd+e for export. Also Illustrator and Photoshop freeze from time to time while saving or exporting files ...
- Indesign 15.03. 64 bit Illustrator 24.1.3 64 bit Photoshop 21.1.3
- Can't reproduce - only happening from time to time but every 10 Minutes or so
- Expected: saving or exporting
- Actual: freeze so that I have to kill the process via task manager (win 10 - uptodate)
It ist a big pain since 2 weeks or so .. please fix it. Ah and I use shortcuts to export or save. I try if the error still persists when going the manual way per menuclicking.
Another thing that caught my eye is: After a crash i restart the application and especially indesign doesnt recognize the screen resolution and opens with a veeeery big window ... I need to "fit to screen" to make it apply to my resolution.

To identify the cause of this issue, we had started our investigation with the aim to resolve it. You might have also received an email from us seeking more details to help in our investigation.
We’ve concluded our investigation and came up with the finding: Either the issue is fixed in the latest release of InDesign or the issue was intermittent in nature at the time of its reporting and is not reproducible now.
We recommend you to upgrade to the latest version of InDesign 2021(v16.0.0.77) as it is more robust and contains a lot of bug fixes.

We have released InDesign 2020.1.2(v15.1.2.226) with a lot of stability fixes. We recommend you upgrade to the latest version (if you’re not already on it) as it is more robust.
If you still face this issue even after updating, please submit the crash report to us. (Guidelines to submit crash are available at (https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/kb/submit-crash-reports.html )
